people always thought of Rose McGowan and Marilyn Manson as an ''odd couple'' because they seemed so opposite on the outside not knowing what they had on the inside. so that's why so many people speculated on their relationship. I admit myself that I didn't think Rose and Marilyn seemed fit at first

can you blame Shannen for leaving Charmed? She should've left after season 2 because that show just fell apart in my view after the 2nd year

I agree.. and you know why? the creator of the show, a woman, I can't remember her name right now, lost more and more control over the storyline for commercial reasons (network interference) to make it more "mainstream". The mythology and darkness therefore gradually faded and gave way for those love stories dominating the show... i did like the show to about the time when the baby stories took over. But it was best in the first 2 seasons without this massive "chick" factor.

you're referring to the original creator, Constance M. Burge, who's ideas made Charmed a success in seasons 1 & 2, then when that jerk of a producer, Brad Kern, started rejecting her ideas by season 3, the show became more of a Disney chick series with these ridiculous cliches on witches. that's why I stopped watching after season 3

we have similar taste - I felt EXACTLY the same with Charmed! I did watch season 3 and 4 with quite some delight because I liked the characters so much (with less delight after Prue/shannen's departure though - my favorite character).

But ya the "Disney chick" factor disturbed me tremendously. It took the flavour and character out of the series.

yeah and it's hard to believe that Alyssa Milano, & Holly Marie Combs lasted as long as they did cause some regulars usually leave by the 4th season of a tv show. to be honest I've been bored doing 8 years of Charmed which is why I always give Shannen kudos for walking off that show

ya I walked off as a viewer when the baby storyline took over (I still think that creator Constance M. Burge would have flipped if she ever watched the show.. SOO far from her ideas!! LOL). 8 years usually is too long.

some shows keep up their character throughout several seasons though. if business interests destroy an unusual show then it s always unfortunate ;)

Ya Shannen actually left a great impression. The show really declined later, predominantly because of Kern you're right. Good 4 her

I went to college last semester to study acting so I guess you can say that's what I would like to pursue. But if I had my way, I would probably last on a television show for 3 years because I would like to pursue other roles instead of the same one all year round
