  • hello there glad to hear ur havin fun can u make a video on how u make a consist i just bought a realy nice procab 5 amp system and i want to make some long trains run with 2 engines I need help and i know ur the man for the job my e mail is morettibrian@yahoo.com we can talk more there ...but i would realy love u to make a video

  • @trackspike64 By now you are having a LOT of fun... am I right?

  • @trackspike64 The subject is covered in the manual... it is really not that challenging... (of course I can't sit here away from hoe and repeat the process from scratch)

  • @raboyd2008 yeah that book is even harder to read then operating I was just hoping for some hands on by some one that has some experience well i will be watching if u ever would liek to help ....

  • I love a beer with the boys while doing that!

  • wow! This must have taking months to create! Great work! you put a lot of effort into this! And how much exactly did it cost for all the parts? If not just an estimate... I'm think of maybe buying one!

  • @TaKt11calAssassin The DCC was reasonable... as to all the other goodies.... lets just say that (thank GOD) I have a wife who believe that every human being has to play... and of course having some BOY BABIES helps too ;-)

  • @raboyd2008 haha, you lucky man!

  • LOL at 5:29!

  • Great vid, nice grades, beautiful trains, and some pretty fancy footwork in operation, too!

  • @b7gwap Thank You! I have loved trains of all scales since I was a little kid.... it is a sickness really ;-)

  • Look good ... I use Kato track on my n some people dont like it .. But when you can run trains and walk away from then and trust that they will still be running when you come back or run four or five trains at one time that makes railroading fun ... Well done can't wait to see more !!!

  • @The301trainman Ditto Ditto... whats more try backing such consists through a double crossover other than Kato!

  • I wish you'd get a good cameraman who could shoot while you operate.... I'd do it if I lived nearby!

    Great trains, though.

  • hey nice layout...but i was wondering if you had any CNW covered hoppers that you might be willing to do some trading on????? thanks let me know

  • @railroading29 I would but the one I have I got when my dad died (imagine that he was a train nut too)

  • I have the sante-fe one, bout 100$ per 4 cars, right?, then about 125 per engine? It is awsome... I love it. nice layout tho.

  • hey how are you.?

    I recently saw your video

and i myself am looking to do the same thing but have some questions so if you dont mind could you help me out?

Im going to make my layout dcc and im also going to use kato unitrack. im just not sure how exactly the dcc connects to it or which system to use. after reading your video description and some research ive decided to ironically go the same brand as your layout. so how excatly does the dcc plug in to the unitrack? thanks phill

  • @phillonly Kicking BUTT and taking names...

  • @phillonly USE TWO WIRES for a small layout... a feeder of the same two for a larger one.... DCC is a snap and once you have it you will NEVER GO BACK... I promise

  • hey great vid well done

  • The NCE Pro Cab is reasonably priced. You can get one for around $150. It does come complete...meaning you could run a small to medium layout by itself. The book that comes with it is very well written, and the company has really good support, as well as a public forum at yahoo.

BTW, what he is programing is a little more complex than running one or two trains.

    Yes!! This is N Scale.

  • The cost of the NCE Pro Cab IS VERY reasonable... but that ain't all!

Further, as my first try at DCC, I found it very easy to set-up and get started, teaching myself with the NICE spiral bound instruction book,

Yet it still has all the "fancy-schmancy" features available once you get the hang of the basics!

  • NICE PAINT YOU SHOULD MAKE A VIDEO ON OPERATING THE NCE I WANT ONE I AM USING OLD ATLASMASTER

  • is this n scale or ho scale? its kinda hard to tel

  • @BCRailfan96

    N-scale!

  • can't wait to start mine gettin some more kato track thing of curves double crossover atlas trainman set union pacific sd70m atlas dash840bw new mrc double powerpack and couple new cars. just gotta get a new table of 3 by 6 feet and that should be ready please subscribe to me

  • this is super cool!!

  • I can't wait to begin my N-scale layout. Yours is really good and I enjoyed the option DCC provides with regard to multiple trains running simultaneously. Great job!

  • that is really really awesome!!!
