@RFXCGZZ Mythlogic was definitely a bit higher than the others. At the end of the day with the options I wanted it was around the same price as going with a Sager reseller. Plus knowing that they were fully testing and actually building the machine made me feel better. I've heard my fair share of Sager horror stories. The piece of mind & less worry of RMA was a huge selling feature on them. Also I contacted them and made an offer for a config and they accepted the price I wanted.
Nice laptop. I bought my Sager NP8150 almost two months ago and it's too fast. Still too fast to today without a single slow-downs or hiccups. My only con about this laptop is that the disc tray is a bit loose so it rattle (not a problem when disc is inside and spinning, only when you touch it on the side but oh well). Nice specs. I have 8gb 1600mhz, 2720QM, and 6970M. 250GB ssd, blue ray, and 95% gamut 1080p screen. Good laptop! Ill buy clevo laptops again through resellers. got mine at xoticpc
@heretoshop Thanks. Yeah to be honest I'm in a habit of tucking in everything due to work (yeah I work at a software shop that let's me wear shorts in the summer w/ a collar shirt). The belt is because I've lost over 50 pounds since the beginning of the year - and I kept putting off buying new belts because i've gone from a 44/42 to a 34 pant size. Good news though - I have a new belt since I posted the video.
@heretoshop Wow really? his clothes looks completely normal to me. Sorry to hear that you don't have a professional job that require you to dress nicely. This shows that he has money and he's an engineer, unlike you.
@x4gaming I ended up spending a hair over 2k. The NP8170 is the same as the Clevo P170HM which is the same as the Mythlogic Pollux 1711. Mythlogic builds it and tests it themselves - whereas Sager builds them and then resellers sell them. Mythlogic definitely is more expensive if you're going base config - but they charge $25 for an upgrade to the i7 2720 over the 2630 - which is a $160 extra through Sager resellers. It all depends on what you want - and see if they'll work with you on price.
Mythlogic is overpriced in my humble opinion. Congrats on the weight loss though.

@waves1of9terror I was kidding with him. He isn't an engineer btw, he works at a software shop. But please, be a hero.

@heretoshop Lols. Yeah apparently I misread and was thinking of software engineer.

Nice. And you like the type (like me) who would be buying such a machine. Software Engineers ftw!!

@sselway100 Yeah I need to try compiling something big on it :-)

It's really good. The 6970M seems to be handling everything I'm throwing at it. SC2 on Ultra is butter smooth. I'm still getting settled in on it.
