  • We have some gendered based nouns in English like

    Host/Hostess

    Waiter/Waitress

Yeah I know the articles in German "Der, Die, Das" can be hard for English speakers.

  • Jaa!

    Ich bin lernen Deutsch auch!

  • Haha, best bilingual bonus ever.

  • Ich wollen du ficke in der arsch.

  • your German sucks

Ich will dich im arsch ficken

  • Thank you for informing me of something that I already know. :)

  • Ich will dich in den Arsch ficken

  • I still have difficulty with the either/or prepositions XD

  • that whats all not natives with german have, if they didnt learn it as they been children ;)

sure, its good for definition etc. ...

but the articles are unfit and most time old, and its NOT a good tradition, its STUPID! who needs 3 articles? I L eng, "THE". nothing more and unnecessary articles, its just "THE". Asian l. dont need them, why does they exist? everybody knows what it means! just some suffixes for plural, but dont need some other stuff, man! There should be a language revolution =D

  • Yes, gendered nouns suck! there really is no need for them!

  • okay, its "nouns" ... thanks ...

  • I can understand your difficulties. English is much easier to learn then german. I'm a native German :-) so I have no problems but everybody understands you also if you are using the wrong articles.

  • sometimes not only the simplicity of a language is superficial but also the manifoldness. especially german is called a very creative and manifold language. Think of Goethe or Schiller...

  • true, i have learned english for about 6 years, and im from austria, so my native language is german.

now, i try to learn finish but i have never failed this hard before, you have to learn nearly everything new....

  • either this, or that ;o

you normally use either when two options are presented.

  • but I thought you used the accusative case when goal-oriented motion was involved and dative when the object was staying in one place

Er geht in die Schule (He walks into the school)

Er geht in der Schule (He walks in the school)

    habe ich recht?

  • the way my teacher makes us remember this is saying... "ACCUSITAVE FOR MOTION, DATIVE FOR POSITION!" very funny. We thrust our hand forwards for accusitave and slam our hand on the table for dative! Kinestetic learning at its best.. (spelling?)

  • i watched this 20 time at least

    thats so funny

  • I wanna fuck you in the ass xD

    omg

    they really schould learn english

  • If only they knew what that meant..

    :)
