yeah they are indeed more melodic but i disagree when u say "went down". I dont understand the aversion to melody. Melodic bands can still have a great power sounding even better =)

Way to respond to a post I made 4 months ago, lol. Kataklysm riffs have always been very melodic, even during their Sylvain Houde-era; which in my opinion is a major factor of which seperated them from the rest of the ultra extreme metal crowd. The difference is that back then they were so very original, nowadays they play pretty generic Melodic Death Metal.
