  • Keep a good work. With this wind, you can power half town. Thumbs up!

  • you have an egg around the chicken...lol

  • take a stepper motor from an old printer, or an old treadmill to test it

    peace :)

  • what was the wind speed at the time of this ? 50+ I bet !!!!!!

  • I've tried to install the generator and proved that this model is not enough muscle to work at low speed win good in its win Hight speed and am having trouble finding a suitable generator for this model

until now I am still working on it

  • If there was a load, could it be variably increased to act as a speed governor and at the same time capture more wind power?

I suppose it's already being done but I've never seen this mentioned. It seems like, rather than reducing the blade pitch in high winds, it would be better to increase the generator load.

  • goatization: I'm glad it survived the storm. Enjoy

  • you got guinea in those field?

  • it wouldn't spin so fast if it had attached a generator and load ;)

  • Hi there, that model is cranking fast. I took my savonius apart and I found a 15 gallon blue plastic drum that I am going to use instead. It will shorter, catch the same wind, and I wound coils and have 16 magnets from speakers all the same size I will attempt to make it generate small electric. Have to level everything carefully, Keep you posted.
