i just recently discovered golden girls. i was bored one time during vacation in florida, flipping through channels in the suite and there was nothing on. i come across this show and i was ah what the hell lesse and i fell in love with it!!! such a heartwarming atmosphere! so funny and sassy too! too bad netflix doesnt have GG in instant play....

This was the best sitcom of its time and my favorite show and have been watching a marathon of seasons 1-7 on JTV Sophia is the best with all of her quick comebacks, Blanche the slut, Rose the Dimwit and Dorothy well she is the smartest one in the group.

@kublahkahn99 Jay Sandrich, who was directing the pilot, only wanted rue to do her normal accent. When he left to do the cosby show, the new director wanted rue to do blanche the way she auditioned for her, with the southern accent.
