  • @xXDCarone5413Xx

you should act quickly next time, turn your cel off and rest it

on it's side, bang on it soft. still on its side right try using a hair dryer

and make sure to let the hot air hit every little lines and holes, any

entrances that u see water can enter.

okay than cool it of with an a/c or fan i rather use a fan in my case since

im low on cash lol, so right after you cooled it off repeat the process till

screen is real dark blue dont over heat yer cel with the dryer!!

  • @bella21ish im having the same problem today T_T

  • @bella21ish

If the rice gets in the phone you have to learn to speak chinese

  • @bella21ish

Use long grain rice, then dummy.

Mind you, watch for bits of sewerage, if you had dropped it in a dunny.

    cheers.

    from,

    del-boy

  • @bella21ish dontmatter, justblow it out.

  • @bella21ish yes, it works ! u have to have it in the rice for 2 days at the most.. seal it !.. i had my phone in rise for 2 days and it worked like it was new !

  • @bella21ish Yeah, Rice has got in my phone before, and my ipod touch... The rice somehow expanded and literally blew up, which then broke my ipod lmao

  • 0:07 that happen to me but with cam

  • I put my DS in my backpack, and my water bottle leaked. So now, im gonna have to blow dry it and put it in rice. I hope this woks:(

  • question: if my phone's keys don't work, and i lost it for a week, and it was in a damp place, is it still possible to save it?

  • i turned my phone on and it worked then it turned of now the screen wont work is it too late:(;(;(

  • ya@@@@@@@@@@2

  • "Thanks Guys"

  • The best way to dry a wet cell phone is to use DRY-ALL it is guarunteed to work when directions are followed. Everyone should have a jar of this stuff just in case it is reusable so one jar can last forever!

  • I would be willing to bet that a lot of wet phones that COULD have been saved are 'bricked' by impatient owners who don't wait until the phone is 100% dry before powering back up. Don't be tempted to 'try' the phone until you've done the rice thing for a sufficient amount of time. I've also used a hairdryer to bake some of the water out as well

  • does it work on the iPhone ? I dropped my cell on a pool yesterday and i'm desperated. You can't take the battery off from an iPhone ! Shit, I hope it works

  • is it works on iphone?

  • around 6 i went to go use the bathroom and used my phone as a light. do to the fact that i'm watching this video you guys know what happens. its 2pm right now is it to late

  • oops i pressed da buttons is it still gonna be fixed... my phone wont even turn on! but ill try

  • I were the man whose cellphone fell into the toilet bowl, i gonna kill the man who bumped me!!!

Imagine saving your phone from a stinking toilet bowl...it sucks!!!

Save your phone's life but get it stinking...

Okay, i am not going to mention what it smells like because it's not good for those who don't like unpleasant things such as ***** **** *** ********!!!

  • lol my dad washed my cell phone like 2-3 years ago or somthing like that dryed it but the screen dont turn on the other stuff works though i think its to late.....=(

  • BAHAHAHAHAHA!!

    Jimmeny Christmas!

Wow, fuckin' cheesey, ANd LOL @ that dudes face, an who says "OOOHHH!!!" when they drop there phone?

    xD

  • I fell in my pool at 6 or 7, and now its 10. I immediatly got out, and took off the back of my LG Shine, and removed the battery. I set it on my fence, and let it dry. I came inside, unscrewed the back, and opened it, and some water came out. I took out the SIM card, and put it in my sisters Shine, and it worked. I put a shirt over the back of my unscrewed phone, is it too late to do the rice thing? I can not let my parents find out, or well... no new phone for a while.

  • @jalien1666 did it work

  • my phone got wet a few days ago, and I took it apart and let let it sit for a day and half and it turned back on but now it dials by itself ....is it too late to do the rice thing...probably wishful thinking...

  • i think my phone is damaged cause i didnt know about the rice thing when i got my Zn5 wet now the display timeout doesnt work and the phone keeps saying please open the camera lens cover when i press the 2 or the up arrow can anyone help me?

  • OH MY GOD this worked! i figured if nothing else i could save the contacts, maybe lose the screen (bad on a touch screen phone, no?) but 24 hours in rice and my phone is back in action. i can't even begin to say how grateful i am to you guys. THANK YOU!!!

  • you would be abit fucked if you have an iphone....cant remove the battery :P

  • I hope this will work I dropped my cellphone in my friends pool. I didnt no what to do so I took out the battery and dryed it with my towel, then I turned it back on and then it turned off so hopefully it will work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You RULE. My wife dropped her cell phone in the bathtub while bathing our daughters. We pulled out the battery and stuck it in rice for 48 hours... powered it up and didn't have a single problem.

  • HOLY SHIT!!!, u fixd my cell phone! life saver, except a couple of white spots the size of a semicolon like this : each dot

  • wat if its a iphone...u cant rly remove tha battery...

  • Thats why know one buys the ifuck.

  • heh heh well i sure hope it works cuz my friend was txtin on my phone and dropped it in her dogs water dish ...O.O

  • I am a cell phone tech and I can tell you:

YOU CAN'T FIX DAMAGED ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS BY PUTTING IT IN RICE

  • i did, only damage is a couple of unnoticable white spots on the inside screen

  • i think the idea is removing the water before it does the damage, but yes you would be right if it was already damaged by the water.

  • hey i just dropped mine in a pond today and the phone itself works i can recieve and answer calls but the screen has gone. However mine has been in the rice for about 8 hours and i just checked it and the screen flashed when i turned it on but no screen came up. Do you think it should work if i leave it for another 8 hours?

  • now i will drop my phone in the toilet and see if this works for me :)

  • look i cant talk right now *barfs cell phone into toilet* XD

  • does it work for the sidekick lx ? im scared it might get stuck inside ( the rice ] so i wanna ask b4 i try it

  • your stupid for spraying your phone with 409...

  • try taking the battery out and washing the phone with regular water (just rinse it) and then dry it with a towel and dry the battery. put the battery back in and try to turn it on. if it doesn't work, take the battery out and let it dry in the sun or on a dryer.

  • dropped mine in toilet that had just been bleached took it out put it in rice left it for a day it didnt work so i soaked it in water and put it in to the rice again !! . waited two days took it out and amazingly the phone works perfect again !..

  • uhm like i dropped it and pushed a whole lot of buttons do u think it will still work?

  • lol, i would press buttons at first, but the thing is, mines a touch screen. lol

  • i tryed it thanks man it worked!!!!! all i need is a new battery it works when its pluged in to the wall

  • i have the rant and the screen comes on every few seconds then shuts off what should i do

  • I dropped my razr in the toilet and I had blown dried it and It works, BUT, the keypad stays on 24/7 and it drains my battery. Can the rice thing still work??????

  • well... my cousin accidently put his phone in the washing machine it still works if he charges it but if he unplugs the charger it doesn't work

the battery was broken and couldn't store energy so he got a new battery and now it's all better so maybe you should buy a new battery but i recommend you test it first if it works then buy it somewhere cheap for $8 or so cuz the original price is about $20-$50 for certain phones

  • my display screen doesnt work cause i was on mountain with it and the snow made it snowy, everything works except the display screen, what shud i do ? i can only call and do stuff by picturing it in my mind.

  • wow i think the begining is mad fummy

  • I dropped my cell phone in a bowl of ramen noodles today..And I ripped the battery out and everything and wiped it down best I could but that didn't work..Then I called my friend Jacqui and she said to put it in a zip lock baggie with one of thoes little baggies you find in shoe boxes or beef jerkey that says "Do Not Eat" ripped open in the zip lock bag air tight. Do you think that will work as well as the rice if not better?

  • his shaking it as he says dont shake it

  • Comment removed

  • will instant rice work?? hurry i need answers

  • my friend dropped his phone in the middle of the street in the snow on r way home from skewl... i found it 4 days later in a puddle

  • Thanks Josh... You saved me way over a hundred dollars for a replacement! My sprint phone was in the bottom of the pool for like 5 minutes and wasn't working at all yesterday. I put it in a container of rice and today, it is working perfectly fine.

  • the guy did not drop his phone in the water in the begging he still had it in his hand look at it
