I had to pay about £70 to get a ticket for this on eBay. Worth it though, awesome gig, even better than when they played Download at Glasgow Green.

Crowd was absolutely bouncing for the whole gig, anyone who says lame crowd clearly wasn't there.

fucking problem was that the tickets got sold out in 20 mins and posted on ebay 5 mins later for double or triple the price so most (thats most) real fans couldn't make it to one of the best gigs of the year... pissed off!!!!! awesome song, great audio quality...

yeah, i agree about the tickets...i was lucky, my mate got them as soon as they went on sale, but i have friends who have been life long Metallica fans who missed out on this gig and were not going to pay over the odds to see them.

NOW, as for the comments about a lame crowd......it was that tightly packed up front, you could not move!!! END OF DISCUSSION!!!

Voice was better than normal in this song! Also the audio quality is really good considering that it was recorded from the crowd, congrats with that! A great perfomance!

& To all the negative comments, there was mosh pits and watever else I was at the barriers all night and I could not move at all same with everyone around me it was so packed !

And yeah i saw a few neds :S this one guy kept crowd surffing and was over the barriers like 5 times he was defeinly on somethin...

To be fair Hetfields voice had gone at this point. It started to waver during fight fire with fire. Overall a great gig. The crowd was more or less as you see them in this...lifeless but there you go. If you banged into anyone you would have been pointed out to the Stewards and thrown out.

Great band but showing their age a bit.

I'm a boring old fart who saw them on the Justice tour at Edinburgh Playhouse in a denim jacket, skin tight jens and hitec baseball boots so don't be a hater.

i am defiently not bagging these guys.and i am a huge metallica fan...and i have certianly seen my share of live metallica concerts..check out the live shit in seattle mate that is a brutal metallica concert.fast loud and aggressive and the modern metallica certainly doesnt come close.if you listen to the album version of trapped youll see what i mean..this version is slow and messy..

Its also not as if they play this song frequently so its natural for it to be untight,

There was some major pits happening at the left hand side of the stage (from the main entrance at gates 4 and 5). The pit for Enter Sandman and Seek and Destroy hit the fan at one point when the pit took up rotation sucking people in. NO F**KING MERCY!!!! METALLICA YEAH!!!!!

I was there last night and my bruised ribs can guarantee that people were jumping about and moshing etc. Further back it was definitely calmer though. The small hours jam was awesome too!

Dont know about anyone else but i think that the gig being "in the round" didnt do much for the crowd. Nobody was moshin near me. I got to the barrier nearer the end of the set which helped but come on, its metallica FFS! too many NEDtallica fans for my liking. They played awesome tho.

i agree with "crevisburgess" it was an awesome gig, but they were far too many neds, some of them looked as if they never heard any metallica songs before and were trying to hard to fit but they were really ruining things for people,

plus far too many people were there that were obvious they didnt like or know anything about metallica, they were just there so they can say "i seen metallica" a lot of genuine fans i know missed the gig and couldnt get tickets cause of those people,

yeah, hall 4 is pretty big with no seating area....so there was plenty of room around the stage as it was "in the round", you werent bunched up as it would be if it was a flat stage.......
