Look at footage from people who were actually there. Ron looks like he dumped a vacuum cleaner bag on his head, nothing more. Perfectly clean shirt & perfect knot in his tie. When he lifts his hands, his cuffs are clean. His coat from the chest down is clean. Took time to wash his face and apply TV makeup, but didn't bother running the towel over the top of his head? Afraid of messing up his hair? Nice touch wearing clean glasses too... how long did it take to clean them from all the dust? FAKE!
@CreeperJeeper: The part that really gets me is that some producer at NBC was like "Don't clean him up too much guys... the viewers will LOVE this!" Nobody in the NBC office could have lent him a clean coat to wear? Or he couldn't have just taken the dirty one off? It took time to apply TV makeup and clean his glasses... so why not wipe the top of his head too? This is either sensationalism on the part of NBC or fakery on the part of Ron. Either way, it's sick. And Ron played along with it.
I think Insana didn't have time to pretty up or simply didn't care. He probably saw a lot of gruesome stuff and couldn't have cared less. He just wanted to report what he saw. Seeing him that day was very sobering for me.
How much steel was on the 80th floor of the south tower?
Windsor Tower..131 ft x .82 ft x 348 ft tall
30 flrs of WTC.205 ft x 205 ft x 360 ft tall
There had to be enough steel on the 80th floor of the south WTC to hold FOUR Windsor Towers. But we haven't heard how much steel was on every level of the buildings in SIX YEARS.
The Windsor Tower didn't collapse in 18 hours of fire so how did all that steel weaken in 56 minutes? Don't steel the TRUTH! see WTC Impact Model - MIT

I like how Ron feels it's necessary to wear his dirty jacket on air to remind viewers that he was actually there. Ron Burgundy would be proud.
