I don't know if I've already posted a comment like this in this video, but the 2004 opening ceremonies (together with the 2000's) were the best EVER.

Yeah, Beijing had tons of people performing and had the latest technology, but Athens, even though it was simple, has so much symbolism that it itself becomes a work of art.

Thank you Greece of a magnificient games! I don't mind the debt... Who needs economics when you have 4000 years of Western culture?

@love17161 For me, the tecnology was better used in greece than in china, the ologram was used as dna was better than used for olympic rings for example. fire on the olympic rings was the best.

I hope Brazil could make an opening ceremony with so emotion like it was in Greece cause hearts we Brazilian have too much.

We taught the world democracy, philosophy and thousands of words you use every day have greek roots. My father is Italian, and my mother as I said Greek, we live in Germany and I am sick of how the Germans blame the Greeks for their situation.
