Arai RX-Q Helmet - Review - New for 2010

do u think this would fit on my r6 riding style? ive just ordered this helmet now..

find out later on that the vector 2 would maybe fit me more?

but what i care about in a helmet is, quietness,comfort,quality.. the ventilation isnt that important because .. in norway the temperture never gets to high. hehe =p

@m3g1 I ride a R6 also and wasn't a fan of the RX-Q graphics. I was considering the vector 2 myself until I actually tried it on. Arai helmets are top of the line period so you cannot go wrong with any. However, the different head size matters a lot so try them on first prior to purchase. The quietness on this helmet is a lot better than the vector 2. However, the comfort is based on your head size ;-)

Ive bought a S from the us &a S from Israel (which is from japan) and had no issue at all with the fit. both were rx7 corsairs. now the corsair GP/V has a totally different shape. made for rounder heads. the profile/viper fits me well &the vector sits good as well. I cant wear the quantum the RXQ or GP/v as they are made for rounder heads. a shame since I always buy flagship. I just buy a small from ebay in the models I know fit &no issue for me for years. rf1100 doesnt sit well but X12 rocks.

You should consider bringing someone who can talk about the helmet who is also confident to talk in front of the camera as it seems youre very uncomfortable and nervous, and it shows..just and idea. still great looking helmet. Don't like the current graphics and waiting for some new ones..we'll see..

Question Mr. Competition access (if that is your real name) How the fuck do ya know what shape your head is??..the video talks abut oval and other shape head. Mines shaped like a spongebob square pants head so wheres that leave me?

Yep. revzilla do make good videos. but in their videos showcasing jackets, specifically leathers, they bring in skinny models &they seem to wear jackets way to big which doesn't look aesthetic. I don't know why Anthony doesn't wear them. he's has an ok physique. Richie,only way uknow what will fit is go to a store and try as many helmets in your price range that you can. I know arai &shoei very well (riding19yrs)so I know what works for me. corsairV/RQX/QUANTUM/VECTOR are ALLdiffrnt

Yes i know ud have to try on helmets to be sure(racing motox 14 years) but how do u know what kind of helmet ur tryin on? theres a medium from europe/America/asia and australia. they are all differant. If someone was on holidays and bought one, say, in america and was from britain would that be a differant helmet shape altogether? I bought my helmet in england in the end but what if an asia size medium is a better fit than a european or american one?...
