  • Sorry, but I still think the Vampire Chronicles was the best thing you ever did (along with The Witch Hour). I'm not very big on religious writing... I wish you would write something completely new! :D

  • i love her vampire and witches series and have been reading them since i was 12, but i have to admit my favourite of her books are

MEMNOCH THE DEVIL, THE QUEEN OF THE DAMNED

    and CRY TO HEAVEN

Fantastic books from a fantastic author.

  • Mine would either be The Vampire Lestat or Interview with the Vampire.

  • The only novels that I have read so far are "Christ the Lord, Out of Egypt" and "Road to Cana" and then I read Anne's book "Out of the Darkness". But these books have changed my life, my veiws on Jesus and on religion. I looking forward to reading all of her books.

  • My favorite Anne Rice novel is absolutely The Witching Hour. Best book ever!

  • @BianchiMedia that is also one of my favs

  • For me, it's a tie between "Tale of the Body Theif" and "Memnoch the Devil."

  • I love Blood and Gold! I'm glad to see she finds her writings comforting.

  • Before Rice became famous, I was with a group of people & we asked the question, "What book gave you the worst case of the heebie-jeebies?"

Some said "Frankenstein" or "Dracula". I said "Lord of The Flies". One girl said "Interview With The Vampire". Huh? Nobody had heard of it. The girl explained that it was written by one of her former English teachers at San Francisco State. We all laughed. Shortly after, I got it & read it all in one day. "Interview" is the heebie-jeebie champ.

  • I absolutly agree Anne it's my fav too . It's got the Holy Spirt beeming all out of it ! I just felt Peace & Love the whole way throug it . It's one of those books I could read over & over . Man I Love me some JESUS !

  • Interview with the Vampire is my favorite book of all time not just of yours Anne. I have to say it is always there for me and it seems to help me to read that book whenever I'm feeling alone or depressed. I understand why you have changed your writing and I respect you for it, but I can't say I don't miss your old characters.

    As always your loyal fan

    ~Alex

  • I thought The Vampire Lestat was her favourite?

  • I can't even hear what she's saying and I've got the volumn up 100%

  • All her books are good!!! Lol

  • Of coarse it is Anne... that response wasn't completely predictable.
