My favorite amphibian aircraft, watching this video bought a tear to my eye. There is an excellent book called "a shower of spray and wer'e away" it is all about a pioneering aviator here in New Zealand started a charter business in Auckland NZ using only widgeons I recomend you read it, thanx again for bringing back memorys of a bygone era and preservind some aviation history!!!!
Cowlings were removed to leak check the engines.
