@ttboylosangeles actually, I find 147s quite boring to watch, give me a close match, where every ball potted has a chance to swing the frame one way or the other any day.

Also, Ronnie was in bad taste to ask for that in middle of a frame... he could have found this out before he entered the championship in first place, to me it was just a tantrum of a spoiled little brat.

A 147 is thrilling, because it requires such precision, and they always seem to feature at least one or two amazing positional shots when the cue ball goes out of shape (as we say here in America). The best of these was the shot Ronnie made in his first maximum, after the 13th black, where he sends the white ball up table, past baulk, off two cushions, between the green and brown, then back below the left middle.
