@Renegade466isback - EX2 Blanka was amazing. I would love to see that version instead, since they're already changing movesets around--Ryu has his Joudan kick from 3S, they gave Abel Urien's shoulder tackle, M.Bison has the EX version of Knee Press Nightmare, and so on.

Doubt that'll happen, though. *sigh*

I really think Namco should listen to the fans when they say they want Asuka/Lili vs Sakura/Karin. It's just too fan-servicey of an opportunity to miss.

Except Karin doesn't have a dragon punch... or a projectile... or a single leg sweep... or a tatsu... or anything even remotely similar to Ken. Karin "admires" Ken Masters, being half Japanese half American herself and a martial artist. That's as far as the relationship goes. She's much more similar to Fei Long and her mix-ups are similar to Cammy and Rufus without any dive kicks.

If it weren't for that silly Capcom Fighting Jam/Evolution game, I never would have had a Karin action figure! :P I LOVE her rekka ken combo into FREE rainbow super juggle (It's got untechable juggle damage. It might not necessarily hurt a lot, but it's stylish and can have a cr.hp added into the middle of the combo if they don't tech at all.) :)

I personly couldn't remember more than one theme after having played the SFA3 game for many years, but one day I sat down and listened through the soundtrack and found many themes that I enjoy now

They didn't all get stuck in my head as the SFII soundtrack, but I liked that this soundtrack dared to be different, instead of hearing these remixes of the old classics all the time XP

But that's just my opinion

What I liked about Karin more than the character herself is her fat butler Ishizaki. I love how he anxiously runs to the downed opponent to tend to their injuries, but most of all is Karin's intro sequence where Ishizaki is all primed and ready to fight, then gets surprised and runs off-screen when his master shows up. I got that intro the first time I challenged her and was so confused, then I laughed.

Hey, maybe he really is a good fighter and he's just suppressed by Karin. We may never know.
