The thing that irks me about Capcom and many Japanese companies that make fighting games is they know full well that Blacks and Latinos hold many of the titles in a great many fighting and combat sports...Blacks control a large portion of what is considered the "street" culture, but when you play these games, you would never think that, would you?
I guess it breaks up their egos too much to think of a Black or Latino character whooping ass and taking names.
usually the country that makes something has the biggest say in it, and since Japan was indeed the founder of martial arts it probably feels a little awkward having a japanimation game or film featuring mostly other races, even though what you say is true. Even Muay Thai as in competition has title holders from countries other than Thai. lol
Oh and you also unlock dan, rose, sakura and gen from the alpha series (i think, I might be missing someone out).
they have pretty much added the old original SF2 characters which are 12.
+4 new SF4 characters
+4 alpha chars
+2 super SF chars
+3 (Gouki/Akuma, Gouken and Seth) Although I think Akuma first appeared in one of the super editions. Think it was SuperSF2 turbo or something like that.
Gouken and Seth are new too so you might as well say they added 6 new characters into the game :)
I think that's the whole reason for the name swap thing (in Japan, Vega is Balrog, M. Bison is Vega and Balrog is M. Bison). They changed his name because his original name M. Bison was too similar to Mike Tyson. I don't think he's based on him, but I could be wrong.
Oh if your wondering the Streefighter 4 fightstick TE edition X360 works on PC just get the X360 controller drivers for windows from microsoft site and if your into 90s arcade games get Kawaks emulator youll need to get Xpadder for the SF4 fightstick to work for some emulators. I'm on Streetfighter 2 till 4 comes out. :)

yep! indeed - the japanese version of balrog actually has the name M.Bison (Mike Tyson immitation)
Due to possible licence problems they changed the name with that of M.Bison we know.
In the japanese version MBison is called balrog. - If i recall well, don't quote me cause im not sure, check wikipedia :)
