Never let a train pass at Banbury without getting on it - there can be long gaps in the service due to late running.

Not that I know of. I think there would be some vids of the return journey if they had repaired it.

nice video! i was at keynsham waiting for it for 2 hours! ended up with the 47 but it was still nice anyway. Shame the steam never got there. Nice to see it anyway.

5043 could easily have failed on the main line between Banbury & Oxford causing havoc.

Be carefull of standing near the road bridge at Keynsham, the slip stream is very powerful.
