It looks like some mix of a Viper and an Aston. Fabolous hot design!
Hybrid with the electric being supplement to fuel is cool for now, but next version oughta be hydrogencell powered so you can just "fill it up" like with gasoline, but from a H2 pump.
What's happens when there's a blackout and ur electricity is out..? And then the sun is blocked by the moon. And ur cord gets stolen by black people..?
akinagod ---- what you want is complete change, be reasonable, change is a slow process and a process has steps. this is a step in the right direction and should be praised for its ability to bring knowledge through publicity ....
The car tends to appeal to a lot of people due to its looks and mixes of appearances that are thrown in, such as the BMW twin kidney grills, Jaguars XK which looks a lot like the front in my opinion and a little of Infiniti's and Maserati's curves thrown in there. Nice looking car but ill stick with Infiniti and BMW, plus I'm not ready to drop 80K on a car with no reputation and that I'm not familiar with.
Incorrect. Electric cars are around, and were around in the early 1900s. The tech is there, and has been for some time. The big issue is outfitting fuel stations across the nation with battery charging stations, and getting the leading manufacturers to start pushing electric tech more into the mainstream.
Look up "Home Made Electric Car" on YouTube. The user is st0ckman.
i wouldn't call it rape. it costs hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars to get a new, low volume car launched from scratch. they have to be able to make the money back. hopefully, when they get established, they can make them more affordable.
This is actually what all "hybrid" cars should be. The gas engine is directly connected to an electric generator instead of the drive wheels. Diesel locomotives use the same type of power plant. A lot of fuel gets wasted while trying to accelerate a normal gas engine car. With a gas-electric motor, extra power can be stored in the batteries or used for acceleration.
Your 411 is right on target. That's kind of rare on the tube.I've been testing HHO technology, and I can't help but think of the possibility of replacing this gas motor with it. I am already running a generator on the HHO I produce. The rest is simple.
its actually supposed to be priced at $80,000 which isn't to bad considering its a luxury car and does 0-60 in 5.8s also gets good mpgs and good for the environment, Looks are stunning too.
wow a cool volt!!!
damn gm should have kept the original design that looked like the camero.
but this is awesome.

Damn. That's why the car still NEEDS a gas motor.

with a solar roof, they can charge batteries, and they know that. Besides, their still raping us with the price.
tooliscool23 3 years ago
If they could charge the batteries with the solar roof, they definitely would and leave the engine out. The solar roof provides very little power.

oh i c, but their still raping us with the price, like i would buy a used s2k, and convert it to an all electric.

At first, I thought the solar-roof was designed in order to charge the car, and its components.
Wouldn't that be better than just some fans?

You'd need more panels than that...
