  • THIS IS CRAP!!!!! KILL ME NOW!!!! THIS SUCKS ALL ASS ALL OVER THE WORLD. GIVE ME THE JAPANESE VERSION ANY DAY. AND SOME ONE PLEASE FIND THIS WOMAN AND TEAR OUT HER VOCAL CORD, FIND ALL THE PEOPLE INVOLVED WITH THIS VERSION AND DO SOMETHING HORRIBLE TO THEM.

  • It isn't that bad, at least they didn't switch the song with some shitty american singer aka Lady Gaga or whatever.

  • Never saw the dub version, but this actually sounds good.

  • i just recently did a dub of this song but i like the person who sings this better if anyone wants to see it they can. but i dont really care X3 BUbblegum Crisis is my ALL TIME FAV ANIME GOOO BUBBBLEGUM CRISIS Thank you so much for uploading this .

  • Not a big fan of the dubs...but this was one of the better dub attempts.

    Still...prefer the originals.

    *shrug* Oh well.

  • This is song is so cold hearted. It reminds me of my life. It has always been a way for me to justify Misanthrophy. It's the result of a horrible series of events creating a hideous human world and an intelligent reaction to it. It's like 33rd degree of luciferian Freemasonry. Hatred as a form of enlightenment.

  • @giovanniartifice1

    Shut the fuck up

  • I learned both versions and while I favor the Japanese the English versions are very good compared to a lot of other titles that came out dubbed at the same time in the early-mid 90's.

  • Appreciate the efforts to even make an English version of the songs like OtakuD50 said but yeah the original song in the Japanese language sounds better, more pleasant to the ear even if you don't understand the words.

  • the opening of the 2nd episode(japanese version) made i wanna bust my closet open en get a keyboard and leather jacket out!! :)

  • "Tonight a Hurricane!" was an awesome opening for the first ep. of BGC! I loved that song before I even heard the original Japanese version. Can't find it anywhere on youtube though. Thank goodness someone has an actual link to all the dubbed episodes, so i finally got to hear it again :)

  • ewwwwwwwwwwwww englishhhhhhh

  • Old school anime is the best anime!

  • Honestly, I don't think the dubbed songs are that bad. It's the dubbing of the characters in teh actual episodes that are problematic. Whoever hired Sinda Nichols to do Priss should be flogged.

  • loved the chorus, "cold angry child, wounded and wild!"

  • it has a lower qualyti of performance at the instrumental part of this song but the voice is good, in the original version you can delight the instruments along the voice of kinuko

  • MAD MACHINE! what will tomorrow bring? we can't be sure about anything

I actually offered the company a few thousand dollars to buy the copyrights and master discs, they declined

  • Priss and the replicants FTW

  • sounds not bad

  • It's good to know that bubblegum Crisses was influenced by western (that's us) rock. Each episode was based from metal bands or songs.

  • Actually...watch Blade Runner + Streets of Fire (the Michael Pare' movie)...you'll see everything there.

  • Yea I saw Streets of Fire, talk about a culture clash.

  • ahhhhhhh i can't belive i lost these dvds!!!

  • the most exited song !!! *-* I like it* I love it

tell me what do you feel* tell me waht do you do

    oh yeah*

  • wow wow Flash back!!

  • Not bad. But the "Hey, Hey" sucks.

  • If only this version ever made to CD, I'd love to have it on my Zune.

  • just use a capture utility and record the song and save it as a MP3

  • Ahh why did I think this song was from Dirty Pair Flash o.o

  • same era?

  • one of my classics that im sure I will never find again

  • This was the first dub I ever watched that had both good voice actors AND singers. AnimEigo did an amazing job with the Bubblegum Crisis dub for the time that it was released. I wish now that they hadn't canceled their plans for the dub OST.

  • Damn, the sound is different in the English version. Still a good song, though, English OR Japanese.

  • I HAVE EVERY DAMN CD and the english DVD songs are NOT THERE!

GAWD this viddy makes me happy.

THOUGH the american singers not singing with the proper intensity....sigh..

  • There was never a CD made with the English translations.

  • I JUST said I have EVERY one.

    And dont have this...

So yes, that means it was never made.

BUT there are GREAT BGC action fgigures made now. Check em out!!!

  • Hey do you have the English version of the Hurricane Tonight song?

  • this song just does not work in english, along with the vocalist. she sounds kinda disconnected from the song >_>

  • The English versions were so much better than the original Japanese varsions. Its a DAMN SHAME they were never released on2 a soundtrack.

Some of my faves are Mad Machine, Cool Eyes, Don't Forget, Never the end and Twilight.

  • I like the fresh instrumentation of the Englisih version but I agree w/TheHurricaneTiger -- none of the vocalists have enough anger or power compared to the original Japanese song. That's a good running song actually - the Japanese Hurricane song too. Good memories.

  • I wish I could find an MP3 of the English version of this song

  • i prefer the orginal version. the singers have more power inside their voices

this version is not so good as the original

  • i think the english version is better

outside of the guitar solo for mad machine, the english songs have better instrumentation.

    best example "burning highway"

  • having heard the japanese version, the english version hasnt quite got the umph of the original :( still great song

  • thanks for uploading it this i have been looking for the English songs on here for ages, I'm glad the company put the effort into dubbing the songs but wish the released a CD with them on

  • Konya wa constipation! The singer is trying..the editor is a dead man!

  • Konya wa constipation!

^ That made me laugh for like, five minutes. xD

  • The DVDs are bilingual, so... they're there even if you don't want 'em. Peronally, I like how they actually went to the trouble of making the English songs. Most of them suck compared to the originals, but they're all pretty close to the song's meanings and aren't bad to listen to.

  • No doubt on that...the people who do these dubs really do want to get as close a possible, but I will take the original version from Oomori-chan any day. ^_^

  • @tak178

My weaboo sensors are going off the fritz here.

  • @Tokamaru97 Since that word means absolutely nothing to me...can you clarify?

  • @tak178

I don't need to clarify anything, google it.

  • Kewlness!

You wouldn't happen to know where I can get the English mp3s of the songs would you? I have the BGC OST, but it's only the Japanese songs.

  • I wish I did. I wouldn't mind having isolated mp3s of the English songs, even if they aren't anywhere as good as the originals (especially Konya wa Hurricane and Kodoku no Angel).

  • I just think she needed to sing with more anger...and yes Ive bought just about every overpriced cd and couldnt get english.

But the new night sabers figures....they rule!

  • I'm actually trying to buy the copyrights to them.
