  • Plett was a money player at playoff time , contributing good offensive numbers when some

considered him only a goon. Tough fighter (what a go with Wilson here) and underrated checker. Oh forgot to mention he always loved his fans and was quick to pen his name

or snap a pic with you. Real 70/80's tough guy with heart.

  • The decapitation of Osgood is one of my 10 favorite moments in pro hockey.

  • yo guys, plett was one tuff dude, and is never mentioned with the other heavywieghts out there, when he should be.

  • Great video. Plett was a great player and an even better coach. He coached old school, just how I played. If more coaches were like him youth hockey would be what it once was. I have a lot of respect for that man.

  • That is an amazing video my friend. I love the fact that Willie took on the B's and the Flyers when they where at their toughest. Of course, whooping up on Shanahan in the 88 Wales Conference Championship is my fav Willie' memory. He was more than just a dirty french word.

  • Thanks for posting this tribute to my all-time favorite player. With over 220 career goals and 2,500 penalty minutes Willi was one of the true original power forwards in the NHL, Love the fact he also played without a helmet for most of his career

  • wicked tyler, you're the man, brutal stick to the goalies head, holy frig! oh yeah and the tunes pretty sweet too

    C
