I live in madison indiana. Makes you sit and think about it since its so close to home. You think about every person involved. They why`s the what if`s.
@awinchester28 Madison is a beautiful town and all I spoke to were nice to me even though I was a stranger asking about this crime they would rather forget. Do you know any of the families involved?
@MichaelHansenFUN Yup…Monday. And Amanda will be on the show too, she is always on the shows that cover to this crime. I hope this Dr Phil confronts her about all the lies she has been spreading about Jacque and the fact she actually bullied Shanda into a relationship with her.
@FullMoonVideo amanda hevern has been spreading lies about Shandas mother? I thought she would be in hiding (back then for a while) because I found her online leaving comments...
hope and amanda on the show. yes I saw the preview. hope my vcr dont conk out.
@MichaelHansenFUN What was not said was Jacque pulled Shanda from Hazelwood and entered into a Catholic school, and cut off Amanda’s access to her. Amanda found a way to reach her and used Melinda’s threats to draw Shanda to her by telling her she would protect her from Melinda. In the mean time she was still being seen with Melinda.
I have dated women like that and they are real head-fu*kers, they thrive on the attention and love to see others fight over them. What was different from the book
@FullMoonVideo was that in the book's? I have misplaced them. Boy this is more complicated than I thought. I guess we will never know, unless they want to write a book and have one line say one thing but another line say something else. I didnt know about the catholic school...
Shanda Sharer’s mother and sister Paije will be on Dr Phil on Friday the 20th. They will appear again on Monday the 23rd and confront one of Shanda’s killers. I wonder who it will be, Toni or Hope?
Thank you so much for this documentry i like it Alot I was wondering when someone was going to dig deeper into this case. I read the book cruel SAcrifce it is byfar the book i read almost everyday,,i read it 4 or 5 times and it just makes so much sence why this would happen,,it just happens..I bet it was intence Seeing toni lawrence! it wouldve prob been intencer seeing Hope rippery, ive always wanted to write a letter to Milinda Loveless,,but thnks for this! it means alot
this might sound creepy to you but did you try to contact her spirit, at her place of death, im not even sure it has to be at any certain place. shes in spirit, she may have something to say or to at least be glad she is not forgotten. god bless her. Im sorry if your not into that kind of thing, I am and I would be interested in you using a recorder just to try to get contact from her. you'd be surprised after using a play back free editing software, what you might get. Its as real as you &me
@rockstarofredondo Toni and Hope were flapping their jaws at the local bowling ally that evening and Melinda was doing the same with her friends. But it was a boy from the bowling ally that went to the police first...is that what you are asking?
@FullMoonVideo Well, I was wondering how the cops/book authors, etc. got the sequence of events. Did all the girls explain what happened & in the order it happened that night? How did they know all of the details?
@rockstarofredondoConfessions, court records...ect. Not all has been told as no one has explained how the limestone dust got on the bottom of Shanda’s feet, something the forensic lab found. Since I drove around the area that Melinda and Laurie drove with Shanda in the trunk I think they took her out of the trunk and stood her up at some point, and probably on one of the side-roads off Rt 62 as they were made of limestone gravel. They have never found the Tire Iron they beat Shanda with.
I truly believe that Shanda would still be alive if the girls who were involved in her murder had been given help that they desperately needed before (especially Melinda and Laurie), but unfortunately, nothing was done. Killers are made, not born.
@Muirmaiden Some have a predisposition for murder over others, a Gene thing. The trick is to identify such behavior before other influences trigger this Gene into action. This usually happens around puberty in both male and female perpetrators. I feel that Laurie had this predisposition, with Melinda it was jealously and she had not learned about dealing with such emotions at her age.
@rockstarofredondo Yes there is, look at the families of any psychopathic, sociopath, murderers and you will find others (not all) with psychopathic tendencies. Maybe not killers but lack of empathy, remorse, and honesty. The sociopath is the more dangerous of the two as it is a combination of the psychopath (Nature) with a dysfunctional environment (Nurture). And many people make the wrong distinction thanks to Alfred Hitchcock and his movie “Psycho”
@FullMoonVideo There's nothing to call it because it's not a "thing". To prove evidence of a genetic factor, you must prove that a gene or specific combination of genes causes sociopathy. Until you can do that, you cannot make a valid claim (which would be a claim backed by an actual argument) that there is a genetic factor. Just throwing out familial relation & saying "genetic factor" exists or that there is some "connection" is not a solid argument for for your claim.
@FullMoonVideo It would be wiser & more accurate to simply say we don't really know of a genetic factor & then wait & see if future research reveals something of that nature.
Toni was the only one with a shred of conscience or courage left in her; needing huge courage to talk or turn in anyone @anytimel. Girls' childhoods of tyrannical/abusive fathers in the home have always lived in a complete state of Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder; a total phys-emot'l. 'state' from which few ever can recover. CPTSD effectively 'stalls-out' all ordinary reaction/responsiveness to any given situation let alone extremes of even more terror...always behind the 8-ball. ,~_~\\
@FullMoonVideo thx fer'yer reply but I'm sure my comment was singular with respect to Toni & why her finally revealing what she knew took so long & was so difficult. I'd have to review some of your courageous production to recall precisely, but it wasn't a statement-in-general, I'm quite sure. Just respecting the one young lady. Found your take on the whole thing of great interest & intrigue on such a difficult tragedy. ~_~
@evernetherall Toni wasn’t abused either, she was very much loved. The only one with a hint of abuse was Melinda Loveless, and many think it was exaggerated for her defense, as she has never said that her father abused her.
it would be horrble to have a family life like melinda but that didnt give her the right to do what she did people who have horrble up bringings dont go around murdering; why didnt toni go get help when they stopped for gas all it took was for one of those girls just tell someone that could of saved that poor girls life
I think Toni’s fear was deeper and extended past the immediate moment, it appears that she was also very fearful of what they were capable of afterwards. As it turns out, Kary Pope and a few others were on their way to Toni’s house with hatchets and knives in the car to kill her parents, after Toni went to the police. I consider this corroboration that she was afraid for more than just her own safety that night.
@FullMoonVideo really i didnt no toni and her family were in danger i read the book a few months ago i had to order the book from the usa as it wasnt in australia im glad i found these docs
Which book are you reading? "Little Lost Angel" is where Kary Pope’s trip to Madison is written about. I also read that Toni was afraid of retaliation against her family in an old newspaper article.
@gwenzini Kary Pope ran with the New Albany crowd that Melinda and Laurie were hanging with at the time of this crime. They blamed Toni for turning them in but forget that Melinda and Laurie were flapping their jaws to anyone that would listen and would have been caught eventually. I guess the adolescent mind can’t put these things together since they live in their own worlds and think the adults are oblivious to their actions.
I don’t live near there, I was just passing through when I shot the video. Others have been there since and have not seen anything unusual.
Ya think that Shanda’s spirit knew that of all the people who visit her there I was the only one capable of producing these videos that help to keep her story alive…so she flashed me a sign??
There is a bit more to the story as to why I felt the sign reflecting light is important…at least I think it is a sign reflecting sunlight.
@FullMoonVideo Its odd that it looked so human like. Even a reflection need some thing to reflect off of. Either way you brought light to her story. FOr that alone I think shed be thankful. Well done.
Who would father a child with a murderer like that? Weather she "tried" to help or not she helped murder that girl. How would she feel if it were her daughter?
If she really wanted to do something she could have called the police long before the two evil scum of the world came back and got them for the final dirty deed. At that age they know right from wrong and even if her excuse was she did nothing ou of fear that is not good enough. She instead kept her mouth closed as though nothing ever happened. Then to hear that she has a daughter of her own makes you wonder who slept with her in their right mind knowing the horrible act she went to prison for
You make great docs. A good tip for the next one would be the Jessica Dishon murder in Bullitt Co. in Kentucky. Maybe you could solve this unresolved case. Put your great research skills to work to undercover a cold case. Her murder has been a great mystery in KY for years.

@whitedomination You would be better off donating to the Shanda Sharer Scholarship fund as this would help to keep Shandas memory, and story alive for years and years to come.
@labslaloo At the logging trail Tony spoke up for Shanda but Melinda threatened her while she had the knife in her handat least that is what was reported.
I think its really interesting you actually got to speak to Tony. I immediately thought you were going to say she shut the door in your face. This video was interesting, I like the ghost scare. It made my heart drop, lol. But i hope to see more! My mom brought this story to my attention
@tarathetarantula No...there is a "T" intersection there and I think it is the sun refelcting off a stop sign as the wind was blowing it back and forth. It was very windy up there that day.
I served a 4 year sentence in prison.. I was surrounded by female inmates who committed much more horrible crimes than this. Many came from very dysfunctional and abusive homes, and although this is no excuse, I believe that abuse children are more likely to abuse others. This is a very sad story. To think that these teenagers could plot and carry out this act.
dont worry,i will run and cry,if this is what they're capable of,15,16,n 17 yr olds going on 16,17,and 18 killin 12 yr olds going on 13 cuz of 1 persons' love triangle, then im scare as fuck of them, ima need a gun if i see em
yes i agree, abused children from the most horrible conditons dont become murderers, explain that one. there is no excuse. adults, their friends, should have seen how sick they were thinking, just about life in general, there are always signs i believe. no one could have dreamed. shame on letting any of them out to live a full life, shame on the system
@zandj710 There is no excuse, but abuse/adverse childhood experience while the brain is developing, does cause permanent physical changes in the brain. Abused people have different brains than non-abused people.
@paganbirdkeeper666 I know! I couldn't believe it when I heard she had a child. I hope that every time she looks at her child, what she did to Shanda haunts her and she has to think of the pain that Shanda's mother has had to go through all because of HER.
I don't think that was a stop sign at 2:20, it doesn't seem to be a logical place for a stop sign to be placed, there doesn't appear to be a reason for the stop sign, such as a crossing road. If you look at it closely, it appears to be moving from side to side, and if you notice the trees in the background that stand still, what ever it is is moving, because the object doesn't stay in the same spot the whole time (pause at 2:32, and again at 2:34). I can't say for sure what it is.
I am one of those internet signatures...may she be encompassed in the screams of Shanda all the days of her life. Shanda was a friend...a friend they decided to murder...they all have a special place in heaven.
poor sweety she didn't deserve that the whole story about how this all started with shanda and those girls it seems so dumb its not even worth punching her in the face!
Not one of these girls have ever felt any physical violence toward them in their lives and use psychological ploys against it...this is typical of such personality's, it is OK if they harm others but don't do it to them.
i watched this a couple months ago when i was searching for something to watch i agree they dont deserve to be out Shanda was only 12 urs old she never had a chance to grow up and have her own family and kids
its not fair Toni gets to move on with her life and has a daughter and Shanda doesnt have a life anymore its just not right those girls dont deserve freedom they deserve torture like Shanda R.I.P. Shanda
i agree she should still be in jail, but she is the one who didn't do a thing and was scared i thought. she called the police when they got back...the problem i have with her is the bite mark and she should have got away and called them immediately. i was thinking that too though about her having a child.
I love the documentary style of this case and the point about picturing the places is not the same as seeing them. Thank you for this extremely interesting but horrific story. Maybe write something about Karla Holmolka & Paula Bernardo.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
What a stupid video. Why even make this if you weren't able to interview the girls. All we're watching is a self-important idiot talking like he's some big detective on a legitimate documentary. Get real, this video sucks. And shave, for God's sake.
Much more than just talking to the girls was my intentions. Visuals of the actual locations I consider important, and this was accomplished. How did you see the Witches Castle in you minds eye, Lemon Road, the stretch of road on Rt 62 where Shanda was beaten with the Tire Iron??
Hard to Shave when on the road...will that make me a better person in your eyes, phoney cosmetic improvements??
Fullmoon, I apologize for my harsh words for you, you are very decent in your response to what I said and I can see that you are a decent guy. The Bible says that a soft answer turneth away wrath and being kind to someone who has mistreated you is like heaping coals upon their head. I stand corrected, you behaved as a gentleman, I certainly did not behave as a lady. I really hated your video, but I have changed my mind about you personally, I think you are a gentleman and your behavior; decent.
If you think this was well made than I see that you have very low expectations and very low standards for quality. It is not rude to have an opinion that something sucks and stating it. Telling me to try and make a video is like telling you if you think a house is a piece of crap to go out and build one yourself, hardly a logical or sensible argument, but then again you did think the video was well made so I can't expect much from you. I HAVE however changed my opinion of fullmoonvideo.
Budget does play a role in quality of production...better graphics, mic's, camera's and an actual crew... I did this in my own spare time at the spur of the moment with my own equpiment.
You should see the Doc I worked on a few years back with the production crew at SIU
Did you really expect the girls to welcome him with open arms, confessing that they were instrumental in the death of Shanda Sharer? Can you name me more than two criminals who actually said that they were guilty of whatever crime they were accused and jailed for? At least, he made the effort to get their side of the story.
Holy cow!!! Can we say SHIVERS?? Do you think that was Shanda walking in that field? I mean, what are the odds...
"I wonder if Shanda was riding around in the trunk of the car around this time?" LOL - I'm sorry, but my morbid sense of humor thought that was awesome.
Thats crazy that you caught a ghost on camera. I have read that when people are writing stories about murder victims they can feel their spirits there, sortive guiding them. I lived in Madison when this happend and my cusion went to school with all of these girls. It was a very sad thing for everyone in and near the area.
My cusion did'nt really socialize with them. He talked to them a few times, but not enough for him to really get an opinion on the girls. Of course we all have a bad opinion about them now that we have seen what kind of monsters they are.
On my second visit I entered from the East by way of Cincinnati, drove down Rt 62. I did not know it at the time but I was within a mile of Tacketts house while on 62 near the small Hamlet named China.
I know, and I pretty sure it was for a TV news station out of Cincinnati. There are many looking for this show as well as the Maury Povitch show about this case...let me know if anyone finds anything on either show.
It seems like those odd contact lenses would kinda scare her little girl.

Hope Rippey is going to be on DR PHIL, I think. but Amanda Heverin will also be on.
MichaelHansenFUN 8 months ago
@MichaelHansenFUN Yup…Monday. And Amanda will be on the show too, she is always on the shows that cover to this crime. I hope this Dr Phil confronts her about all the lies she has been spreading about Jacque and the fact she actually bullied Shanda into a relationship with her.
FullMoonVideo 8 months ago
@FullMoonVideo amanda hevern has been spreading lies about Shandas mother? I thought she would be in hiding (back then for a while) because I found her online leaving comments...
hope and amanda on the show. yes I saw the preview. hope my vcr dont conk out.
MichaelHansenFUN 8 months ago
@FullMoonVideo WATCHING DR PHIL PART 2 Has left me more confused than ever before. the books say one thing, the mother says something different.
even though if amanda stayed away from shanda, who knows. but who knows who insisted or bullied into a relationship. we will never know.
MichaelHansenFUN 8 months ago
@MichaelHansenFUN What was not said was Jacque pulled Shanda from Hazelwood and entered into a Catholic school, and cut off Amanda’s access to her. Amanda found a way to reach her and used Melinda’s threats to draw Shanda to her by telling her she would protect her from Melinda. In the mean time she was still being seen with Melinda.
I have dated women like that and they are real head-fu*kers, they thrive on the attention and love to see others fight over them. What was different from the book
FullMoonVideo 8 months ago
@FullMoonVideo was that in the book's? I have misplaced them. Boy this is more complicated than I thought. I guess we will never know, unless they want to write a book and have one line say one thing but another line say something else. I didnt know about the catholic school...

this might sound creepy to you but did you try to contact her spirit, at her place of death, im not even sure it has to be at any certain place. shes in spirit, she may have something to say or to at least be glad she is not forgotten. god bless her. Im sorry if your not into that kind of thing, I am and I would be interested in you using a recorder just to try to get contact from her. you'd be surprised after using a play back free editing software, what you might get. I wonder how they got the story. Did all the girls talk?
rockstarofredondo 10 months ago
@rockstarofredondo Toni and Hope were flapping their jaws at the local bowling ally that evening and Melinda was doing the same with her friends. But it was a boy from the bowling ally that went to the police first...is that what you are asking?
FullMoonVideo 9 months ago
@FullMoonVideo Well, I was wondering how the cops/book authors, etc. got the sequence of events. Did all the girls explain what happened & in the order it happened that night? How did they know all of the details?
rockstarofredondo 9 months ago
@rockstarofredondoConfessions, court records...ect. Not all has been told as no one has explained how the limestone dust got on the bottom of Shanda’s feet, something the forensic lab found. Since I drove around the area that Melinda and Laurie drove with Shanda in the trunk I think they took her out of the trunk and stood her up at some point, and probably on one of the side-roads off Rt 62 as they were made of limestone gravel. They have never found the Tire Iron they beat Shanda with.
FullMoonVideo 9 months ago
I truly believe that Shanda would still be alive if the girls who were involved in her murder had been given help that they desperately needed before (especially Melinda and Laurie), but unfortunately, nothing was done. Killers are made, not born.
Muirmaiden 1 year ago 2
@Muirmaiden Some have a predisposition for murder over others, a Gene thing. The trick is to identify such behavior before other influences trigger this Gene into action. This usually happens around puberty in both male and female perpetrators. I feel that Laurie had this predisposition, with Melinda it was jealously and she had not learned about dealing with such emotions at her age.
FullMoonVideo 1 year ago
@FullMoonVideo There is no evidence of a genetic factor for sociopathy.
rockstarofredondo 10 months ago
@rockstarofredondo Yes there is, look at the families of any psychopathic, sociopath, murderers and you will find others (not all) with psychopathic tendencies. Maybe not killers but lack of empathy, remorse, and honesty. The sociopath is the more dangerous of the two as it is a combination of the psychopath (Nature) with a dysfunctional environment (Nurture). And many people make the wrong distinction thanks to Alfred Hitchcock and his movie “Psycho”
FullMoonVideo 8 months ago
@FullMoonVideo That's not evidence of a genetic factor.
rockstarofredondo 8 months ago
@rockstarofredondo What would call it than? Why the connection? Something in the food that particular family eats?
FullMoonVideo 8 months ago
@FullMoonVideo There's nothing to call it because it's not a "thing". To prove evidence of a genetic factor, you must prove that a gene or specific combination of genes causes sociopathy. Until you can do that, you cannot make a valid claim (which would be a claim backed by an actual argument) that there is a genetic factor. Just throwing out familial relation & saying "genetic factor" exists or that there is some "connection" is not a solid argument for for your claim.
rockstarofredondo 8 months ago
@FullMoonVideo It would be wiser & more accurate to simply say we don't really know of a genetic factor & then wait & see if future research reveals something of that nature.
rockstarofredondo 8 months ago
@rockstarofredondo I agree…IMO it is a gene that has not been identified yet.

CPTSD effectively 'stalls-out' all ordinary reaction/responsiveness to any given situation let alone extremes of even more terror...always behind the 8-ball. ,~_~\\
evernetherall 1 year ago
@evernetherall Good theory but that does not explain Laurie Tackett, her father adored her and never abused her.
FullMoonVideo 1 year ago
@FullMoonVideo thx fer'yer reply but I'm sure my comment was singular with respect to Toni & why her finally revealing what she knew took so long & was so difficult. I'd have to review some of your courageous production to recall precisely, but it wasn't a statement-in-general, I'm quite sure. Just respecting the one young lady. Found your take on the whole thing of great interest & intrigue on such a difficult tragedy. ~_~
evernetherall 1 year ago
@evernetherall Toni wasn’t abused either, she was very much loved. The only one with a hint of abuse was Melinda Loveless, and many think it was exaggerated for her defense, as she has never said that her father abused her.

tracytcb111111111111 1 year ago
@tracytcb111111111111
FullMoonVideo 1 year ago

Which book are you reading? "Little Lost Angel" is where Kary Pope’s trip to Madison is written about. I also read that Toni was afraid of retaliation against her family in an old newspaper article.
FullMoonVideo 1 year ago
@FullMoonVideo who is kary pope? I've never heard this aspect of the story?
gwenzini 1 year ago

There is a bit more to the story as to why I felt the sign reflecting light is important…at least I think it is a sign reflecting sunlight.

nicoleakalilqueenie 1 year ago
If she really wanted to do something she could have called the police long before the two evil scum of the world came back and got them for the final dirty deed. At that age they know right from wrong and even if her excuse was she did nothing ou of fear that is not good enough. She instead kept her mouth closed as though nothing ever happened. Then to hear that she has a daughter of her own makes you wonder who slept with her in their right mind knowing the horrible act she went to prison for

I served a 4 year sentence in prison.. I was surrounded by female inmates who committed much more horrible crimes than this. paganbirdkeeper666 2 years ago 10
@paganbirdkeeper666 I know! I couldn't believe it when I heard she had a child. I hope that every time she looks at her child, what she did to Shanda haunts her and she has to think of the pain that Shanda's mother has had to go through all because of HER.
CherryFrog321 11 months ago
I don't think that was a stop sign at 2:20, it doesn't seem to be a logical place for a stop sign to be placed, there doesn't appear to be a reason for the stop sign, such as a crossing road. If you look at it closely, it appears to be moving from side to side, and if you notice the trees in the background that stand still, what ever it is is moving, because the object doesn't stay in the same spot the whole time (pause at 2:32, and again at 2:34). I can't say for sure what it is.

What a stupid video. Why even make this if you weren't able to interview the girls. All we're watching is a self-important idiot talking like he's some big detective on a legitimate documentary. Get real, this video sucks. And shave, for God's sake.
martiebaby 2 years ago

Why don't you go and try to make a video, you rude jerk. I thought it was very well made.
eclecticsw 2 years ago 2
If you think this was well made than I see that you have very low expectations and very low standards for quality. It is not rude to have an opinion that something sucks and stating it. Telling me to try and make a video is like telling you if you think a house is a piece of crap to go out and build one yourself, hardly a logical or sensible argument, but then again you did think the video was well made so I can't expect much from you. I HAVE however changed my opinion of fullmoonvideo.
