  • @hootbutler Haha awesome! Glad to hear, keep workin hard!

  • How many times a week do you work on your abs?

  • @MrBIGDOG216 2-3 Times Per week like this is plenty!

  • Thanks man this works great!

  • @MrBIGDOG216 You are very welcome, glad it worked well for you!

  • Hello there! Have you ever tried - fast abs magic (should be on google have a look)? Ive heard some unbelivable things about it and my sister got beautiful 6 pack abs and lost tons of belly fat with it.

  • @umairzxxx Spammer / BS

  • @FrugalFitness how long did it take u to get abs

  • @MyFrugalFitness I just tried it and I instantly felt it it my abs. How many of these would you do a week?

  • @SharkY6007 Good question, I'd say do up to 3 times per week, but 2 will probably suffice!

  • @MyFrugalFitness ALSO KNOWN AS A SEAL W.O. WICKED EFFECTIVE. NICE ONE BRO

  • awesome!!!

  • @nigahiga9956 Thanks man glad you liked it! More where that came from!

  • hey dude I brought the p90x, just wondering what protein powder would you recommend, I dont seem to get enough so I want to get a powder that suits me (i'm 15 years old)

  • @SuperTX1000 I'm a big fan of Dymatize Elite XLT for anyone, it's cheap as hell if you get it online on Amazon or AllStarHealth, pretty good quality, and very good nutritional content. I'd say for your age you could take a half scoop once or twice per day for a little extra protein if you are doing weight training consistently. When I was 15, I put on a lot of muscle and strength with just Carnation Instant Breakfast, tons of skim milk, and lots of peanut butter alone, no supplements!

  • @MyFrugalFitness thanks, would you say whey protein be safe choice, like whey 100% gold standard?

  • @SuperTX1000 Ya that is a pretty solid choice, you can't really go wrong with that one. I would say go for it, hope it helps. Work out hard and work out smart!

  • @SuperTX1000 lool I forgot to say this does the protein powder thing work? Did it work for you, I looked on the internet some were claiming its a myth

  • @MyFrugalFitness thanks man :D I'm suprised your not getting as much youtube attention as all the other big guys like scooby, your advice is great thanks you to :)

  • @Mbeebeelove Thanks so much for watching, tons more videos coming soon!

  • wow, those 8 minutes went by really quick. the ones i couldn't do was the atomic crunches, very advanced exercise.

Thanks for the workout. I'll be adopting this as my ab workout instead of 30x3 crunches.

  • @Airmaster167 Awesome! Hope the workout does great things for you!

  • Probably a dumb question, but will this workout help towards getting v-cut abs? I have currently a visible six-pack however, my goal now is to lose some love handles and get a v-cut. Damn things have been bothering me since elementary school -.-

  • @Saminizer16 just diet for 2 weeks and do those bicycle crunches, planks and spiderman pushups every few hours and some hiit workouts and drink lots of water. that works for me. it sounds like you have a similar build to me.

  • @jdhf983y4uhu Thanks m8, will try it out. Hopefully this will work for me as well :)

  • Totally OT, but I love your room! :)

  • @MikeSchiemerCPT ah, ok! thanks, you're a cool person. This might be a silly question but, you must be a fitness trainer, aren't you? i'll watch your new vid you've just uploaded.

  • we have the same legs.

  • How can ANYONE dislike this video man?!

  • @yastunt You are too kind! Thanks so much for your support!

  • Grunt more. It is scientifically proven to add more strength to anything you're doing.

  • @Airmaster167 Haha good call! I will make a grunting video at some point, I'll try to make it as funny as possible lol

  • @Airmaster167 what? really? i didn't know that... well i learned something today.. :)

  • Thanks for providing this workout. I recorded a speed-up video of myself doing it for my workout today. I hope I did it all right. Thanks again.

  • @Frod Great job again on your ab workout video, hope it's been working for ya!

  • @tigergreg8 Haha true true. Yet another reason why I need to get more and better workout vids up haha

  • Nice man , i tryed this out and it works great!!!

  • @TescokRs Awesome! Glad to hear, hope it helps out! Thanks!

  • @MyFrugalFitness wow dude. i'm usally watch "SixPacShortCuts" videos but they are normally short so i'd have to combine 2 videos each to do my exercises but your vids... i'll start watch your vids. good body dude (no homo). i appreciate it. :D

  • @melikecookies1000 Thank you so much man! I really appreciate your views and support. Yeah they usually just post quick tips or workout tidbits so you buy their expensive program, I try to post plenty of full exercise demos and workouts among other things. Lots coming soon!

  • Is this accurate calculation:

    Adult body fat % = (1.20 × BMI) + (0.23 × Age) − (10.8 × gender[m=1, f=0]) − 5.4

If not, what is? BMI, I think, is too vague b/c of the calculation of height and weight only

    Many thanks!

  • @michel3265 I don't like that equation because it doesn't take into account activity level or body type so I wouldn't live or die by what number it gives you. Correct, BMI doesn't give you the full story on bodyweight quality because it is merely weight vs. height and statistics. It does not take into account if you have lower or higher amounts of bodyfat. Example: Arnold Schwarzenegger in his Olympia days was considered Obese by BMI measurements, when in reality he had about 4% bodyfat

  • Can these be done daily & in this order? Awesome video.... Subscribed & thumbs up

  • @michel3265 I would recommend doing it 2-3 times per week, they can be done in the same order if you'd like it's all good. If some of the exercises are difficult for you, I would do them early on in the order when you have the most energy and least muscle fatigue. Easier exercises go at the end usually so they aren't so easy...New vids coming soon, tons of ab ones in the making!

  • very nice exercises man, should I do this daily ?

  • @dawsonoo7 Glad you like them! 2-3 times per week should be more than enough, so it is a very small time commitment required to get plenty of benefits :)

  • good stuff michael. i like how you take it through the whole workout. What to do and not to do. There is no excuse for anyone saying they have no time to workout, or i cant go to the gym. Just these exercises along, plus , "smart eating" can make a difference. I just started training again after a year off, injury and family issues, and put on a few pounds, ate decent etc .. My prep before my actual physical training was eating clean for a week, lots of water and stretching....

  • ..... this was before i started hitting exercises like yours and specific additional training for body part. Just the eating right, stretching and water, after the first week i would say i lost roughly lost 6 pounds and by week two i was at 10. This was before any major cardio or weights. Sure i probably held some water and lost that, but to feel better from good food, hydrated and clothes loosing up, is all the difference. I will mix in this specific workout for my ab routine. thanks

  • @redtesta That's great to hear, sounds like you are working hard and gettin after it! Keep up the great work and enjoy these exercises! Stay healthy dude!

  • I HAVE A QUESTION: I need a workout that will make my lower to abs show. Right now I have a 4 pack haha. Is it just my body fat that is covering them up? Or do I just need to make them stronger?

  • @UnrealSnipa If you've been doing ab exercises consistently, then you definitely have the abdominal muscle developed already. That is the easy part I'm afraid. The fat covering up your abs, especially the "lower abs" is your body's natural fat deposit area so there is more to get rid of. Only way to get it off is reduction of bodyfat via diet, cardio, high intensity cardio intervals, resistance training, and overall increased activity levels.

  • @MyFrugalFitness dang thats what i was afraid of :/ the diet part is what i suck at. eat whatever whenever have candy in my dorm and drink a soda daily at lunch.

  • @UnrealSnipa Don't keep that junk on hand! Keep only healthy food on hand and that's what you'll go for when you are feeling lazy, what is convenient. Works for me! Thanks for watching, new vid being posted tonight and nearly everyday from now on!

  • @MyFrugalFitness I have another question, I'm lifting every day and I don't feel sore the next morning. Is it because the acids are not being stored since I'm lifting, or do I need to make my workouts more intense. I feel like I'm having to work but I'm not sore. I've gained weight so I know I'm putting on muscle too.

  • @UnrealSnipa Good question, I get this one a lot. You don't necessarily have to be sore the next day (or next 72 hours) for you to have had a good productive workout. If you are never sore, you might want to change up the amount of weight you do, the exercises, repetition range, number of sets, etc to get some more variety in your workout. Your body may have adapted to your workouts if you've been doing them for awhile. Change up variables in your workouts every 4-8 weeks minimum

  • Tried it out... Holy shit... Abs are burning ._.

    Thanks for the Workout :D

  • @TheNameIsIO Nice man! Thanks for favoriting! More ab workouts and other frugal workouts coming soon!

  • yo mike, how u doing dude, erm I need help please, I'm 15 years old, I am a boxer, I hoping to my first fight this year or next year but I cant because I'm not fit enough, so since your an expert at fitness could you help me to become a fit boxer,I thought why not ask you since your in good shape and experienced body builder, which is more improtant strength training or running so could you help me and give me tips please an should I do p90x? does weight training stunt your growth

  • @SuperTX1000 o dude if you wanna box running is what you need more then strnegth traing but lifting weights is still important but running in boxing is important because you have to have good stamina in a fight or match and sparrings is good also

  • @SuperTX1000 thanks :), but does lifting weights stunt your growth?

  • @SuperTX1000 Lifting weights will definitely NOT stunt your growth, you would have to lift weights 6-7 days a week, very heavy, and very intensely for any significant damage to your growth plates. So lift weights but for your age make sure to focus more on using proper technique rather than lifting heavy weights. Light light-moderate weights and use free weights if you can, machines won't help very much for boxing or any other sport for that matter

  • @SuperTX1000 You should do a mixture of running, interval training (jumping jacks, heavy bag, mountain climbers, jump rope, ladder agility drills, sprints, frog jumps, etc), and weight training for overall endurance, power, agility, and strength you need for boxing. Cardio such as running is very important but you also need to prepare for all situations in a fight including quick explosive movements and periods of higher intensity

  • @MyFrugalFitness erm thanks, I just wanted to know and im only 15 and im worried if I do weights it will stop me growing? and would p90z be a could workout since its a mixture of cardio and weight training

  • @SuperTX1000 P90x is solid for fighting workouts, along with your regular boxing workouts. You will not stunt your growth with moderate weight training, I don't think P90x is perfect but it does include plenty of high intensity intervals, free weight exercises, and core workouts. Good luck with your training and check out my future vids
