Have you always wondered why the ship looks different in the cutscene?Well,it's because the beta version 0.99 was different.Instead of going in the big door,you need to shoot the Battlelord's hologram face with the RPG in the part where you get the chaingun.That will transport you to the early version of the ship.They recycled the same cutscene as before,but this time with blood and different sound.

@GraveyardGamers Well, as written in the description, this wasn't a walkthrough. To beat him more easily, I'd suggest you to stay behind the lava canal, use its high shape as cover, and snipe the Battlelord from above it with your rocket luncher.

I just love how when the alien dies he says "Who the hell are you?" and Duke just blows his brains out then answers. Ah they need to make another game like this, too damn bad the game that is supposed to be made has been in production for the past 13 years!!

@zxxrawrxxz Maybe it does. It's the only way of reaching health beyond 100 points. Not just a regular-extremely-large health pack. (It's 50 points BTW. The regular big one is 30. Not such a blast of a difference.)

It's funny to read that the women are "still alive" but it's impossible to save them, they even ask you to kill them ! :/

Yeah, the women issue is pretty retarded (however major part in the game took the strippers...;). Not only you can't save them and asked to kill them, you HAVE to kill them in order to kill all the enemies in a level since some respawn only then, and not only imprisoned women but the free ones as well.

@RadioactiveG You dont get "all" kills for killing the aliens the spawn in from them, those kills count above and beyond the normal kill count.

He's not that tough, you fight like 4 of these guys in one single level in episode 2

When the Battlelord appears in the sequent episodes as a mini-boss he is not as tough as here - final boss. His strength is reduced.

You also likely to have the Devastator weapon then which no boss is a real challenge against, as can be seen in the other videos... :)

Yeah, the first time I beat (or even tried to beat for that matter) the boss of the second episode it was like strafing and devastator and he was dead in 10 seconds :P

But I didn't know that his strength was reduced when he appears in the later levels, he's still a small challenge then anyways.
