  • The outfits make me think of power rangers

  • One of the simplest demos I've ever seen them perform.

  • @wushupants yup, but i think it doesn't need to be complex. it needs to look good ;-)

  • I envy the lucky kids who's parents can afford this or individuals who can afford this by themselves without the help of their parents..or perhaps i merely wish to watch it...hwich is why i envy perhaps.

  • @DriedGooshies You don't pay for this...you're chosen.

  • i feel like telling them that they run like girls but i am a bit worried about the part when they seperate my head from my body with a simple one inch punch

  • Good demo.

But I just lol'ed at the outfits. Reminds me of Power Rangers... No offense meant.

  • I was there :)

Was this at the Capital Institute of Physical Education (首都体育学院) ?

  • ...no its not!! wushu is only a part of chinese martial are known as kung fu

  • wrong. kung fu simply means 'time' and 'energy'. though people typically refer to wushu (the chinese martial art form) as "kung fu"

  • lmao no!!! kung fu is losely translated as a mastery of a skill. the skill can be martial arts or anything else. time and energy is part of becoming a kung fu master, but kung fu does not mean energy and time. read the warrior within. i think that is the name.

  • traditional wushu was watered down and made into modern wushu by the communist party so that it could not be used for fighting.

  • when my dad grew up under mao martial arts was outlawed u were only allow to train for exercise alot of masters had to mask it claiming non of em r using it for fighting

  • In what situation do you want to use kungfu to fight? I think what is really important is the spirit, which makes every Chinese man a lion, rather than a cat. How to cultivate the spirit? Find someone randomly on the street, and punch him on the face?

  • yeah, punching you in the face would be the best way to cultivate my spirit

  • But it may be too difficult for you guys to do so (I worked as a cop and know a lot about you naughty boys ). It is my pleasure to help you to be a better person. Now, all you know is "punch you in the face", if you can also be so brave in front of a corruptive political leader, you should be proud of yourself.

  • hay msg me on msn messenger if u want 2 cyber! ID is in my profile. o

  • even if it isn't your typical martial arts (i.e. it's meant more for performance than anything else, really) i still wouldn't mess with anyone who's good at it; those guys could take out any average joe on the streets if they wanted to

  • Great comment

  • well, both do require flexibility....(but i think wushu is cooler :P)

  • oh noes! the evil communist party! rofl

Wushu is a lot of fun, and great exercise when your young. Older people move on to Bagua and Taiji - also forms of Wushu. Try learning. It really does help.

  • Wu Shu is not a martial arts?!?!?!?!?!

WuShu means martial arts in chinese........

so watch what u r saying, cuz ALL chinese martial arts style are called wushu

  • @091101 no dear wushu is a martial art in itself but all the styles of kung fu shaolin now sports

  • huh....? the evil communist party! ruuuun!!!

  • yes the communist party was evil, and yes you would run

  • i hope the taekwondo crowd learned the superior skills needed in wushu ;) gret clip! thanks for posting!

  • woow that was really good! i love wushu, lol! :D

  • I love Chinese Martial Arts for they show grace and power at the same time.

  • suck your own dick p4intb4ller wushu isn't f*cking ballet

  • lol i c i hit weak spot :P

  • is this fast forwarded?....

  • fast forwarded? no? why would you think that? o_O they all move that fast XDDD

  • these guys are f'in good

  • wushu kicks ass

  • martial arts kick ass

  • i would not call it ballet ;-)

  • yeah my bad

didnt mean to make is sound sissy

i was trying to say that it has alot more acrobatics than the traditional kungfu

  • actually wushu in chinese means martial arts, kung fu is usually use for more traditional styles nowadays

  • just to let u know taekwondo is totaly diffrent and this is wushu which is also called kung fu so taekwondo is NOT WUSHU

  • this is beijing wat u expect?

  • dude, most changquan group sets are weak, tihs is one of the best i ever seen. Good job! :)

  • wow i want to do wushu sooo bad. But i enjoy doing taekwondo too^_^

  • do both!! i am a 2nd degree black belt in tkd and i do wushu!! its hard to transition at first since tkd is a hard style where wushu is a solf style.... but if you really wanna do it.... DO IT!! ^_^

  • taekowndo lol is wushu idiot

  • learn. to. read. dumbass.

  • it depends how you define wushu. Wushu actually directly translates into "Martial Art", but it is usually used to describe this specific style, WHICH IS NOT TAEKWONDO.

  • aha LL

  • Thats not taekwando thats wushu

  • lol, don't u think he knows it?
