From watching the Amstrad ending of this game it seems there actually was a way of killing the Predator by pulling up a log at the top of the screen and dropping it on it's head. I think that log can be spotted at 9:20
I remember trying to do this for ages back in the day...
Unfortunately I later found out (years later) that there is a bug in the Amiga and Atari ST versions of the game where the "rope" used to raise the log doesn't appear making the game unwinnable.
WOOOOOOOOW!!!!! This must be the most BORING game ever made. It took like 37 years to see all the soldiers slide down the chopper and run away. And no music......no sense at all!!!!!!
I think you were meant to first pick up a radio, then when you get to a certain scene, a countdown begins. Here you're meant to activate a rope and raise up a log and drop it on the predator then just run.
I think the real ending has the chopper come and pick you up.
Wow. It's funny how when this first came out I was as excited by it, addicted to it and frustrated by it as kids are now to the likes of GTA. It seemed so difficult to complete at the time! I miss my 520STe
I had a copy of this but it must have been a bad copy because at the point at 6:00 where the predator appears it was just a load of blocky pixels that immediately killed you. I also never realised you had to put the gun down! Never got past that part but it looks like I wasn't missing much. Looks like one of the worst games I've seen to be honest.
Fuck me, a real blast from the past! I got an ST 520E when iwas 8 or 9, you got 20 or so games with it on blue disks no boxes, this was one of them! half of the games were too hard to play haha, i never got past 2nd level on this...the good old days.
My cousin had the exact same package, I used to go round and play on it over a weekend. Some of the game weren't bad...Pacman and Space Harrier were the bollocks!
The bats on this were a pain, I could never hit them.
I liked the ST, but honestly, I thnk this was a shit game. The funnest thing I used to do with my cousin was hit 'A' on the keyboard, which makes the main character to a pelvic thrust. Then you can sneak up behind the enemies and bumjack them, haha
Fantastic! I had an ST, but rarely played any games on it. I played a lot of games on the 65XE, though. Nice game the Predator. Good graphics. It could have more sound effects like the foot steps and all, because it goes too quiet sometimes. I wonder if there was an option to get he guy mush up in mud, and then setup some soft of trap for the predator. I am just guessing. Never played this game, but it looks very nice. Thanks a lot of posting passing all the leves. Very good.
I'm not sure it's the right ending, it's the only ending i got but i think it must be possible to beat the predator and get some kind of "congratulation screen"

I've acually been waiting almost 20 years to find out how and now i have!!! I never knew you could drop your weapon and pick other things up. Seems like a pretty essential element of the game and i completely missed it! ooops. Who'd a thought you actually have to go fist to fist with the Pred?What button did you need to press to drop your weapon?

You mean I spent my entire youth stuck at level 3 and it was a 10 minute game with a lousy ending like that? OMG!!!
