  • I think the luck about evened out. For instance, Buddy scratched twice on basically good breaks. Buddy by the 1990s was physically a little out of shape. Otherwise, he would still have been beating everyone. His pool fundamentals were still as good as those of any player on the planet.

  • i think Jeremy deserves to win this match, he plays better and makes less mistakes. Hall plays great, but also got the luck on his side.

  • @s1llyvi3tb0i

"Deserve" has nothin' to do with it. Buddy won. That's it. Jeremy broke the last rack and didn't make anything, and BUDDY ran out. Period. How did Jeremy "deserve" to win when Buddy ran out the last rack???

P.S. If Jeremy had "played better", he would have won. He dogged his fair share of shots (watch the match again..) BUDDY HALL!!!!

  • A watched a friend of mine played Buddy at Nat Green's pool room in 2005. Buddy lost against my friend, even when it was very hard to play Mr. Hall. I think the reason my friend beat Mr. Hall was because he played for many years billiards (3 cushion) and had an amazing stroke and awsome cue ball control.

Great match between them two. Was very had to beat Mr. Hall, who is one of the best players in the world.

  • I like both their strokes. So smoooth, like watching them play the violin. Great match.
