  • ok everything was good until u did the last problem..but thanks

  • No Sound.....

  • SOUND?!

I know it would have been awesome with sound :( :(

  • no volume?

  • Thank you, your wonderful!

  • the 8 and -6 how come???..who can tell me???

  • for me quadratic formula is easier

  • does it have to be that you find two numbers that multiply together to make 48 and SUBTRACT to make 2, or can it be that the two numbers ADD to make 2 as well?

  • YOU ARE MY SAVIOUR, i hav a math exam tomorrow and this guy just covered my entire semester in one hour, only one thing can you please put all your similar lessons in a playlist cause its easier to keep track of Please and Thank you!!! :)

  • my teacher sucks at teaching she tought it this way but she keeps saying this is the illegal method and she has a really bad accent

  • @dannyleeg Sorry teacher, but there is nothing illegal about this method! It is the quickest method if the quadratic can be factored easily. If it is a harder quadratic or one that cannot be factored (or if you are poor at factoring), then the methods to use are graphing (if you have a graphing calculator) or the quadratic formula.

  • @minkusbc In fact, in some cases it's the only way out. (Factoring, I meant)

  • @minkusbc yea most people just use their calcs lol

  • @dannyleeg that is horrible. A mathematician without this technique would be at a great loss in equation solving.

  • Thanks so much mate love yuh! Hey im not gay but yeh still love yuh!

  • i love you man

  • thanks youtube

  • i love u man u dont kno how much trouble ive been havin with factorin i really appreciate u postin these videos!! god bless

  • got a math test tommarow, my teacher cant teach for shit. lol. i get it now :D thank you!

  • duuuuuudeeeeeeeeeeee that was awsumm

  • canadian accent? or no.

  • Guilty as charged! - eh !

  • youre awsome!!

  • Greatly apreciated!

  • thnx. u should consider teaching. i've seen a lot of ur vids ;)

  • He is a teacher.. Well.. a retired one.

  • What if the variable isn't sqaured? Like, what if it is x^4? Would you use four brackets then?

  • Nice handwriting!

  • THANKS SO MUCH!

I'm not feeling so horrible about my test tomorrow now! :D

  • thank you very clear

  • Thanks heaps! it was great how you used several examples to drum it in

  • you're math exams life saver ! thx a lot!

  • dude your good, you should seriously tutor in real life, this helps, I'm in grade 11 math and I usally get confused between what kind of factoring (difference of square, reugular so forth) that I have to do

  • YEH THANKS SIR!

  • thank you thank you thank you

finals are today and my teacher is horible.

    im desperate

  • hahahaha i feel ya. same here. mine are tomorrow.

  • your explaining is very accurate, nicely done, very clear, and you used different colours to make it easier to understand what you did and what to concentrate on. You saved me :)

    thanks

  • THANKS So much, Very Helpful!

  • hey you a teacher?

  • Obviously, I can tell that you're a miracle worker.

  • Nice job again sir!

  • my god my math teacher sucks

  • even better than when i learned this.

i enjoy your videos, you make it easy for math prep

  • omg he makes it so easy

  • how would the second way work with

    3x^2 +8x+2?

maybe im just doing it wrong, but it doesn't seem to work for me

  • EASY SHIT TRY limits :)

  • holy shit this guy got me an A

fuck school we got the internet

  • Fcuk...i hate my teacher...i love you though : ) tysvm. 5/5

  • big help........ thanks!!!!!!

  • i love this guy!!

u helped me get my HS diploma!!

now im in college, using your videos!!

my professor sucks!! your the best!!

  • i love u dude

    u own maths!!

  • my teacher is a freaking idiot, you should teach and I finished my hw in record time with all correct.

    thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • after you factor the equation and get

    (r+8)(r-6)= 0

and you come up with the two different answers..

is that called the "zero principal"?

im going over my notes from last year and i cant remember exactly what the "zero principal" is.

  • If they equal to zero, the one f the factors has to be zero. Multiplications of zero always contain a zero.

  • man u saved my ass i have exams now and this stuff was rediculasly hard for me.

  • Great method of teaching factoring quadratics, this is 1000x better than the "trial and error" method that's been taught in middle and high schools for so many years. Thanks for posting this.

  • thnx man... im so glad that you do this im gonna suscribe to you... you just helped me ace my math quiz!

  • i am having really big problems with these sort of questions for i have GCSE exam soon. Poeple have tried to explain to me but i still don't get it!

  • Excellent mathvideo. Thanks!

  • When you move the 48 over you should stress the idea of equality. All you are really doing is subtracting both sides of the equation by 48. While it may seem insignificant now, when you need to manipulate the equation with things like square roots it becomes a lot less trivial.

  • I did that way back in the earliest videos on solving equations. Thanks for the feedback!!

  • thanks man, it was helpful. keep it up!

  • thanks man you are the best!

  • Factoring is sooo easy..

  • Excellent.. Thank you for sharing your skill.. your teaching method will be very helpful.

  • Excellent! But your writing is too small for the quality of videos on YouTube...

  • Thank you for posting this video. I was having a hard time with factoring since my orginal algerbra teacher that moved up from 2nd grade didn't have a clue how to teach factoring or the quadratic formula. I am now in algrebra two and this was very helpful. Thank you again!

  • Thanks !!!

  • the sneeze was sexy lol. thanx, you help me greatly.

  • thanks alot man that was really helpful and easy to understand aswell.

  • nice. i like the accent also.

  • THANKS IT WAS EXCELLENT
