will this kind of magnaflow be street legal and pass smog tests??

I live in CT and it passed my test this past year... however I do have a "Check Engine Light" from the high flow cat. I brought my car in for service at Audi and they cleared the code for me without me even telling them, so I schedualed my test, got it done and passed... the "Check Engine Light" then turned on about 10 miles after I left the test center. But you CAN pass smog tests with this setup

My personal suggestion would be to look at exhausts you might like for the 2.8, since the 1.8T and the 2.8 have completely different sounds. Also, the parts that I have will not really work on a (B5 I assume) and additionally a 2.8... Good luck with the search, take your time doing the research and it will pay off in the end

Amen Brother, I hate when people do that. I'm the only one around here that has an Turbo Audi (I live in a Hicktown, I love it and I'm a redneck, but I prefer German Tuners). My friend has a '97 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins Turbo Diesel and he shuts it off right away every time. I give him hell if he does that when I ride with him.

well he could have a turbo timer which is why he turns the ignition off immediately...

no turbo timer... not one of my better moments, but the stock K03 turbo is coming out anyways... dont really have a need for it anymore but its good practice to let it cool down anyways
