Maj Richard 'Dick' Winters, through his actions and leadership proved to be an individual of such huge quantities of courage, selflessness, dignity, rectitude and level-headedness; but never to boast about his qualities and accomplishments, yet he carried himself with such awesome humility, good grace and true intellect.. The world is a lesser place without men like Dick Winters; lest we forget & may we never hold our freedom cheaply!!
