The reason for Miranda appearing then disappearing in the next shot is because they film the show twice... The first show in the afternoon is for friends, reporters, and basically a big run through. They also do a lot of filming on the actual runway. The second show that evening is for all the big press, editors, celebrities etc and is sort of the BIG SHOW! Then for the CBS version those use clips from both shows. Eg, in 2006 you'll see Karolina lose her shoe in one version, but not in another.
