The aquatic levels were the most memorable to me when I played DKC. Those octopi scared the hell out of me; but riding the swordfish and pawning the sharks made up for it. And look at the amazing background; that always captivated me when I played these levels.

The thing that made SNES games so good -- and I say this seriously, I really do believe this -- was that they didn't have to make sense. Like, how are monkeys swimming underwater without some kind of breathing attachment? And yet by allowing it, you get a whole lot more variety in the game. The game is better for its illogical parts.

Exactly. Video games permits anything to exist, in any form. Like a movie, or better yet, a book. In my opinion, with more freedom than the first, but less than the last.

In the end, it's a great platform to stimulate one's imagination, and should be used that way. It's in the end, a product of the imagination of a group of inventive people.

this is a very beautiful game. the graphics are so artistic, there better than some of the games today. the music clears out my head and makes me relax and feel good for a while. the game itself is extreemly fun to top it off. good choice, good choice.
