that air bag at the bottom looks like a idea as long as it creates more friction than the tires. Also would it prevent the driver from changing direction? If so, maybe it would be better to put it in the back that way the driver would still have some control.

@mikedundee1979 I think the point of that system is when the odds of being able to change your angle of attack by even a few degrees are like 1 and a billion. Like 70 mph to a complete stop in 50 feet (less than the half a second reaction time). Then the bag does it's job of slowing the car faster then the wheels can.
