Gosh, I liked Pauline very much and I felt sorry for her. A hard working matriarch who tried to keep her kids on the straight and narrow as best she could. You could see the sadness in her eyes. It's been eons since I've watched this show, she could have changed since then. Martin wasn't even born yet! She and Michelle were pregnant around the same time wasn't it?
