donninton93 was wet, but not as much as barcelona 92, in which schumacher was 2nd, only after super-williams of mansell, while senna crashed! also in spa 92, schumacher gets his first victory, being in the rain much better than super-williams of nigel and ricardo, and of course better than senna. but barcelona 96 was much harder than donninton 93 and spa 92, with much more rain, and schumacher won with no electronic aids, not like senna in 93, schumi is the greatest rain master!!
Just for the record:- when a car goes sideways it's because looses grip from the tyres. Traction control works on the accelerator. Now, williams, mc laren and benetton had traction control, infact this was the last year for tc. The point is that nobody has excuses on senna's performance because the competion had the same technology and on the whole a superior car. So AYRTON made the difference!!! So for Ayrton's talent there was no competion!!! MAGIC AYRTON!!! WE MISS YOU!!!
@NOSTANEX Williams had electronically adjusted suspension (or "intelligent suspension"). That made such a difference, they completely destroyed any kind of F1 competition in '92 and '93. Both skill and strategy made a huge difference for A.Senna and his McLaren, particularly in Donington and Monte Carlo. And it was clear, I think in Interlagos, that not Senna, nor any other driver, had any chance against Williams (slick tires, delayed pit stop, intermediate conditions).
Thanks for the rain. When Ayrton had a bad car + the rain = winning :). He wouldn't have won any race in 1993 because The Williams and The Benetton had better engines. Miss him.
He is missed forever. He is in my heart and soul. F1 is not the same...without him...not as exciting...hopefully...one day we will have someone who has a great passion just like him...will be fun to watch again.
On the first lap of that race, Senna passed four drivers, three of whom combined to win 12 WDCs in their careers, and had a weaker car than all three. I don't know if he's the greatest driver that ever lived, but he's the best in my lifetime.
The greatest of them all. Never will there be another Senna. He beat everybody. He beat them driving lesser cars. He beat three other world champions - unlike a certain German I could mention. The statistics mean nothing. Senna will always be number 1
"People say Donnington was my greatest race. No, it was easy, I had traction control."
Traction control: something a majority of the field (including said certain German) didn't have.
What was impressive is that he just walked all over the vastly, vastly superior Williams, and as James Hunt said during the race "the Williams are as better in the wet as they are in the dry - that (huge lead after two laps) is pure Senna."
Ok, so just because the other guys were world champions, doesn't mean that they had equal cars... fine, Prost had the same car for two years. In 1990, it's very obvious the Ferrari was inferior. In 1991, the Williams only caught up when it was too late. What are you on about inferior cars?
"n 1990, Ferrari was inferior. In 1991, the Williams only caught up when it was too late."
Le me tell you something:
In 1990 Ron Dennis did something he had never done before and never did again: He gave the championship McLaren car to Senna as a present, saying that Ferrari was superior and the reason why they won was only one: Senna.
And in 1991... you gotta be KIDDING me. Any stupid ass knows that williams was way superior. Just watch this: watch?v=Y8VA7WoSmog
depois da corrida Ayrton mandou ver na Adriane e apertou pra valer. kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
