  • @eatenhamhawk yeah everybody would just be killed, no one would be sain, no food good water or system

  • Shitty, and old strawman meant to discredit Anarchism.

  • @eatenhamhawk dood its satirical.... anarchy cannot function

  • this is a gross misrepresentation of anarchism. peter kropotkin would be disappointed.

  • Brillaint

  • and then, there were fewer....

  • OMG Zack is soo hot!!!

  • Fake

  • @baseballowned no shit....

  • @baseballowned lol thank you sherlock, its a comedy sketch

  • Funny cuz its true!

  • Anarchists aren't stupid.

  • Very well made, but I can't say I agree with it.

  • I have a good idea,12 year old boys! Stop surfing for tentacle porn and having political debates and start laughing with the geniuses at the WKUK!!

  • Why are there always political debates on Youtube? Shut up and enjoy the video!

  • @22CrimsonTide22 Cause it's a political video.

  • @maartenMLMS It's a comedy video. Meant for you to laugh at. I'm sure Trevor and all of them weren't sitting around saying "Ok guys, let's make everybody think seriously about anarchy!"

  • i think this skit is about people's misconceptions about anarchism, not anarchism itself

  • Haha so glad I'm not an anarchist now!

  • Govetmemt begins to form brillant

  • @randomkid802 lol dude, too late. theres already a huge argument over politics and anarchy. look just after you posted that comment.

  • @WhiteTiger225 human factor or human nature or whatever you want to call it is a very appealing abstraction, but it is one that stands for less than you might think it does. And anyhow it's not relevant; Anarchism as a social theory is psychologically agnostic, it doesn't rely on one or another view of human nature

  • I mean nuclear power plants.

    etc.

  • P.S. the skit does bring to light some problems with (anarcho-)primitivism. Going back to subsistence-based economies is impossible as long things like power plants exist

  • @Heller86 Besides, who the fuck would WANT to? The point is more scientific advancement and development, not NO advancement!

  • @dinleaves I don't know, I'm an anarchist myself and I find this skit to be pretty accurate as a satire about some of the anarchist types I've talked to.

Obviously not all Anarchists are like that, in fact Anarchist theory includes solutions to exactly this kind of scenarios but there are self-proclaimed Anarchists who don't really know what they're talking about and I can easily see them acting this way

  • @Heller86 Just like Marxism, Anarchism does not take into account the human factor. It is EASY to make the perfect government system that treats all men equal.... until you toss in the chaotic human factor which would make Anarchism quickly crumble under it's own weight. Its why we cannot have a true democracy sadly, and why freedom of information would be nice, but also very, very bad. Life ain't perfect, and humans even less so.

  • Wow, I'm surprised at how intellectually irresponsible this skit was. I really like WKUK and they seem like fairly intelligent guys, so to make a, admittedly hilarious, skit that completely misunderstands and plays into popular stereotypes and misconceptions of anarchist thought is disappointing to me. ESPECIALLY considering that great socialism skit they did.

  • Fuck Nuclear power. It needs to go.

  • This is 480p...?

  • These guys weren't anarchists... they were socialists. True anarchists would just pay their bills so they kept getting power. It wouldn't be funded with a tax enforced by a government, but a free market project which could allow those with enough skill to keep the energy flowing to earn quite a bit.

  • @watcher8o true anarchists dont go with people and live by themselves because if they live with other people it would be some sort of government system

  • @USAxOWNS1776 No, just no.

    The definition of government:

Government: The exercise of political authority over the actions, affairs, etc, of a political unit, people, etc, as well as the performance of certain functions for this unit or body; the action of governing; political rule and administration

Sovereign people get along, but do not bestow authority on each other, or claim it for themselves. Your daily interactions with people, unguided by government mandates, is anarchic.

  • @watcher8o But if no one wanted nuclear power someone would still have to maintain the spent rods so they wouldn't explode and kill everyone. However it wouldn't be in any one person's interest to pay for this, so it probably wouldn't happen. That's why a government is needed to provide public goods such as safety. People wouldn't pay for something needed to keep everyone safe as long as they see one person not paying, but everyone would suffer for it.

  • @Ruthlesscritic Spent rods don't explode. You need a government because you're scared and less than knowledgeable. I understand that.

The fact is, when stuff needs to be done there will always be a business venture to get it done. And if it doesn't need to be done, but people find it in their best interests, charity will get it done.

The fact of the matter is that having governments in charge of nuclear energy and weapons has made the world a much less safe place.

  • @watcher8o "Spent rods don't explode." Thank what happened at Fukushima? Read up a little bit before you call someone else less than knowlegeable?

  • @Ruthlesscritic Fukushima had a steam explosion. That wasn't a rod exploding, much less a spent rod.

  • @watcher8o lol, what makes government any different than corporate interests? One thing: accountability. Not much, sure, but public servants are accountable to the public on at least a median level. Things are already shitty right now with the minimal regulation on corporations... if it was completely stripped away, we'd be living in a William Gibson novel.

  • @syn010110 You got on thing right, corporate-government combo is fascism, which is what we live under. Notice: Your city council is FAR less accountable to you than your neighborhood grocer. Please give me a real world example of something the government does better and cheaper than private business people, paid by private people?

  • @watcher8o What neighborhood grocers? They've all been killed or bought up by big corporations, which are even less accountable than Congress (as Congress is often accountable TO THEM).

Your argument, like most free-market/libertarian arguments, only work in the absence of the concept of "corporation." You can't tell me that AT&T, Samsung, Standard Oil, Monsanto, et al. are more accountable to the people than our elected representatives are. It's completely false.

  • @syn010110 Never said corporations are more accountable. Local business exists... you might have to seek it out. Buy locally if you can.

Corporations don't have to be accountable because they have Big Brother the protect and bail them out. If the oil companies and mines of the late 1800's didn't have police and military backing them up, things would be completely different today.

  • @watcher8o Well the term anarchist is kind of warped now. What you're referring to can be anarcho-capitalism, or some other form of anarchism.

  • @MadPutz Anarchism is anarchism. It has the same definition even if people's interpretation of the word changes. It's a bit like the word "liberal" which certainly doesn't come across the same today that it did 100 years ago. Anarcho-capitalism is just a fancy term used to differentiate between the mythical bomb-throwing socialists who called themselves anarchists and the philosophically pure anarchists of today who believe in no State. Anyone who's for a state is no anarchist.

  • @watcher8o I would say otherwise. True Anarchists are those who literally believe in no rulers. Anarcho-Socialists, Anarcho-Commies, and even Mutualists can be considered Anarchists. But anyways the word 'anarchy' is too vague and should be tossed out anyways.

  • I want a food.

  • Spent plutonium rods don't need cooling. Dey be spent.

  • Pff, the video's funny whether you read the top comment or not. If some little statement is going to sway your opinion... well, you probably wouldn't have thought it that funny in the first place. Go The Whitest Kids U' Know! :D

  • @PandaxPl0x

    yes

  • Timmy's ANARCHY is by far the best!

  • ANARCHY IN THE w.k.U.K!!!!!!!!

  • someone take this down to the protesters on Wall Street. They seem to be having trouble even figuring out why they are there.

  • Darren looks pretty cute here, ;)

  • but who would run the movie theater?

  • lol

  • this is what america will be in 20 years......... FUCK

  • whos gunna make the movies?

  • is this in the U.K?

  • Off sync much bro?

  • This is just foolish... Anarchists arent like this at all

  • @blackmesa176 So, what are anarchists like exactly? What is anarchy? How is this not anarchy?

  • This isnt anarchy at all...

  • Its funny, this alone explains why Karl Marx version of communism does not work.

  • @1234wafff Which is why it explains communism and not anarchism. ;P

  • XDDD Anarchy, that turns into a small government system. Lolol.

  • @xxVioletxDaymontexx well....that's closer to anarchy than what you have in your mind

  • @xxVioletxDaymontexx Where's the government part? It's free market anarchy.

  • @xxVioletxDaymontexx Welp, might aswell not watch the video now.

  • @xxVioletxDaymontexx

asshole, way to ruin the sketch for people who haven't watched it yet.

  • @xxVioletxDaymontexx belive it or not if america or any great nation falls to the Anarchist that exacly wouled happen

  • Timmy acting like a badass doesn't feel right

  • @NedwardCberry What are you talking about? He was perfect in this sketch! Maybe it's just because you're used to him playing condescending little kid roles. Pretty sad, if you ask me. He's talented.

  • @EricsTechTalk I'm not saying he was bad. I love the WKUK I have seen every sketch and even all the episodes of Breaking In and Friends With Benefits just for Trevor and Zach. Each member is great in their own way. But I am saying that since he normally plays innocent kid type roles it was kinda weird to see him in this but he was still good.

  • Wait... so there are still actors/producers/directors and other people to get the theaters up to date with new films?

  • @R4d1c4lAcc3pt4nc3 Crap, you're right. We'll have to make them T-Shirts too.....

  • Anarchy to Meritocracy. Brilliant.

  • @wcstorm11 dont have purely capitalist system- Western states have a socialism for poor/capitalism for middle class/and socialism for the MNCs(no laws,no taxes, etc). The middle class is basically enslaved to support an ever growing number of poor people brought into the state so the MNCs can continue to post profit increases due do to cutting wages using illegal immigrants or 3rd world people willing to break unions AND to pay to be sure that no large MNC will go out of business.

  • @CharlieALabtech have your pussy fight somewhere else

  • Hilarious

  • LOL look at London

  • Anarchy turned into communism like that,

  • @WailordLvX Yeah it did start sounding like communism after a while xD

  • LOL @ kids in the comments who don't know shit about economics but act like they do.

  • @GaNeXe

Unfortunately, socialism fails because it assumes people will sacrifice and be good to each other if given the choice. History has shown socialism doesn't work. For God's sake look at Europe! They are all on the brink, and Greece/Spain have defaulted. Capitalism works because it plays on man's evil and uses it to create good and raise the standard of living for all through competition.

  • @wcstorm11 I guess where the Great Satan comes from

  • @wcstorm11 Actually look at Sweden, the only bad thing about it is that you do get a bunch of freeloaders, well also the suicide rate (which is again the freeloaders)

  • @DeadNorwegianBlue

    The only bad things? cato.org/pubs/pas/pa-160.html

  • @wcstorm11 Well lets be honest here. America's not doing so well herself is she : /

  • @wcstorm11 wcstorm11 there are many forms of socialism, the one we (Americans) know most about is Communism. Dictator ruled socialism. I agree that socialism doesn't work, but it does at least help in the short term to help the masses. But hey different viewpoints. We have freedom of speech and they have freedom from hunger and poverty. Europe is more democratic than socialist. The Euro is what is transforming Eur

  • @wcstorm11 transforming Europe and not all countries have it. Now I'm not saying that I know everything that is going on in Europe cause I don't, but they are not socialist is what im trying to say. Also you can have a state that can be democratically socialist. Vietnam for example after WWII would have voted for socialism, but the French wanted to take back their colony that was taken by the Japanese. AFter the battle of Dien Bien Phu Ho Chi Minh was the would be president but Ame

  • @wcstorm11 to be a democratically elected socialist state so they agreed to postpone it. 80% of the people (the poor) would have voted for a socialist state, but Eisenhower didn't want that to happen so they rigged the election and put Ngo Dinh Diem in power instead. The Vietnamese people were under colonial rule since the late 1800's and they just wanted to be there own country. Heck, they even based their document on the American constitution

  • @wcstorm11 Wow that was really long lol. I took a class on the Vietnam war this past semester and so I know a thing or too about it, but obviously not all of it. Oh and about capitalism always working… sorry but that is hazy too. Greed is not always good. Look at Enron, Worldcom, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, they were too greedy and ruined many peoples lives. Even the Great Depression was a result

  • @skinerd0001 Intellectual conversations are never too long! You have valid points, but I believe they were taken out of context. For instance, yes the Vietnamese were aligned with socialists, but as you said, more just to proclaim independence. I know several Vietnamese people, they all want revolution but no one is willing to fight. The thing with socialism is that the poor don't get much better. The GDP suffers because no one has incentive, therefore there is less money to be given

  • @skinerd0001 Also, your final example works against you. Those corporations (illegal ops, by the way, so they were not really fair game) failed, hurt millions, and yet... we are still here. Try that in a socialist country. Anyways I hope I don't come off as douchey and do respect your views.

  • thats not what anarchy is about

  • Anarchism is stupid. Communism uber allies :D

  • @falowane6 Communism only ends in dictatorship; look at all real-life attempts at it. Maybe Anarchist Communism.

  • @KLIMATIC666 ...so?

  • is.. is this a lost scene from godzila?!

  • gggggggggggggggggggggaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • Anarchism has nothing to do with anything being free, it's just removing the government while maintaining the economic factors.

  • These guys really don't understand Anarchism, eh?

  • @ForeverDorian thats the joke...

  • @ForeverDorian Nah, I'm pretty sure that YOU just don't understand comedy.

  • Comment removed

  • @loyaldem ANARCHY YAAAAA!!!!

  • AND RON PAUL CAN BE OUR PRESIDENT!! ANARCHY YAAAAA!!!!

  • @dimigw ... except Ron Paul is a huge supporter of capitalism, and supports local and state government expansion.

  • @Bulldog22031 ANARCHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

  • @Bulldog22031. i still think ron paul is a closet anarcho-capitalist. no one can mention murray rothbard and lysander spooner in public that many times and not have at least some leanings toward anarchism.

  • @dimigw YOU AARE GAYYY YAAA

  • i like timmy's character the most. i want a shirt that says "I do something stupid, feed my ass for it!"

  • it keeps stoping at 2:15 (the video time)

  • @teensoldier148 that happens when the video doesnt load completely, reset the page and it should load fine

  • GEORGE W BUSH SAYD NUCULAR!

  • @Ariasjamer Your logic is fail. Your new government, based around other governments, is no differant than any other government, and based around even more ideal circumstances. Any system that relies on humanity will always be flawed.

  • In theory all political and economic philosophies create perfect or near perfect societies but in reality they are all flawed from anarchy to fascism. So the best idea is probably to listen to all ideas and try to create a balanced system that provides the most benefits to humanity.

  • Anarchy.

    It's a nice thought.

  • Its nuke-le-ar, not nuke-u-lar

  • @Endwar1997 I always thought it was nuck-lea-ur

  • @GHEE4345 i think it goes both ways...it was a good thing, and a bad thing. as a species though, we tend to be dicks to each other and start making crappy authoritarian states....when you look at it, thats where we are headed...again, and i dont like it. dont want some dumb suit goon spying on me and telling me how to live

  • "My names Barry, and I used to work at the power plant up north..." , great
