If only people had saved footage of the early years on Death, Scorn, Deception, Corruption.. the old days and the epic battles. I retired from all MMORPGs after Shadowbane because I knew nothing would ever match up. Every year in Shadowbane got better and better. You thought the first year was fun, then the game became even more stable and had more content and the battles became larger. It was like Christmas everyday you were able to log in.

I remember scorn moving to our server and building a massive city with the gold duping. Game was so goddamn fun, played it till the server died out :( still havnt found a game that beats it.

Just heard the news...very VERY sad. Shadowbane was my first and only MMO. I've made countless friends, and enemies, over the years who I never would have met without this game.

Staying up all night at CN banes...having my lowbies be PKed by r7's...getting my account stolen (after the dupe was fied so I couldn't get my stuff back)...even the shitty memories have a fond place in my heart
