It took me about 2 months catching all 3 of these pokemon. When I get to Mesprit, I thought I was gonna battle it like Uxie And Azelf (Which I had caught) Then It becomes a coward and just runs away from me. just go back and forth in between eterna city and route 211 while using the marking map app in your poketch, from time to time, mesprit will show up in route 211 at the same time you are. then you just go to the grass. and bingo! you find her

Azelf IS hard to catch I used a master ball when I used my last ultra ball cause I was frustrated but admired by it when Azelf fights back then when I was done I send one pokemon from ruby holding a master ball to platinum and I have the master ball once more XD

I onced used the Pokèmon copy tricks on Emerald, and copied just as much master balls as legendaries at both Emerald and Diamond, times three, me and two of my friends where REALLY big pokèmon nerds when it first came out. I was the only one who tried to catch them with ultra balls.... on Pearl....... then I did the same thing on Diamond, and haven't done it yet at Platinum.....

how many chances do u have at catching aself and uxie cause i already knocked them out twice apparently after u beat the elite four and become the champion u hav a second chance at catching the lake spirits that u knocked out it seems they are the hardest to catch out of the legendaries in platinum because dialga was caught on the first try with a dusk ball "i had to weaken it first" and i caught palkia with an ultra ball after failing 10 times with dusk balls

actuly when u beat the elite four u can re challenge them supprisingly so i put my theory to the test and beat cynthia a second time and then after i beat her i went to the lakes and they were there so i finaly caught the two now i hav the lake trio

these pokemon live in the caverns neer the lakes. if u have a pokemon that has the move surf, use it around the lake and find a cavern in one of the lakes. and go in the cavern and run in the center of in the cavern. and you will see one of those pokemon. talk to them and they will battle you. and if you talk to mesprit she will flee and you will have to find her with marking map.

These cute little bastards are probably the easiest legendaries to catch in the DPP era (or maybe Heatran). The only one you'll consider using though would be Azelf due to it's good Speed, S.Sweeping abilities and uber cuteness. :] (Uxie isn't so bad either though).

Every DPP legendary has a catch rate of 3, except Dialga and Palkia with 35, and Rotom with 45, if you consider Rotom a legendary.

Alright, proof on rotom isnt a legendary. You can make baby rotoms! Lvl 1 you know. A ditto and a rotom will make more. None of the legendaries can get babys. Thats why rotom aint legendary. Hes just a weird pokemon they added because of the event key that makes him change form.

The trio have levitate, so Arena Trap won't work. You pretty much have to use Wobbuffet or a Mon with Mean Look / Spider Web to trap them before False Swiping away.
