that has got to be one of the most beautiful videos i have seen on youtube ! i was in santorini with my sister in august, and even with the crowds, its still ranks first in the most beautiful places i have ever been. i can only imagine what it must be like after tourists are gone !

We did think about it, but the people there discouraged us and said it gets cold, rainy, windy. Didn't sound that tempting like it is in May & June.

That was unfortunately my experience but I still appreciated the view and area in those fewhours I had, although i DO want to go back!!!

Was that residence where you stayed expensive? do you have more information about that on your site?

Well at least you arrived by boat Tabachoy89 which I think is a must for Santorini ( instead of by plane as some do). DO go back in May or June & Volcano Villas where we stayed is very reasonable, the bungalows at the campsite VERY cheap. Yes, read all our info on our website under Greece!

It's a beautiful island and your photos/videos show how bright and calm it must be in June. (I went in November, which was a bit late in the year!).

Great to see those vines looking like wicker baskets - there's nowhere else in the world where they are grown just like that - it's to protect them from the fierce winds on the island. Their dry whites from the Assyrtiko grape cane be delicious too!
