... and the money for the industrial revolution came from the loot & colonization of plush, developed civilizations of asia, africa, etc (according to documents submitted by travellers in European courts and parliaments)

@indinoodle When Spain brought back gold from the Aztecs and Incas they did not undergo an industrial revolution, they saw massive inflation followed by bankruptcy. Money alone does not mean economic or technological development, if you were to just print money it would lead to inflation reducing the value of money and causing economic instability, it would in fact be bad for the economy.
