Quality is amazing. I personally stick to mp4 encoding since the quality is better and you can still get a smaller file size then WMV codec. I'm looking forward to your upcoming videos when that day comes since I have to wait next March for it. I'm assuming you are talking about FFXIII?
Did you ever have a problem with motion blur? It might have happened on some of your earlier test videos, but this one is as clear as ever. Vegas seem to automatically add a motion blur sometimes but I don't know what causes that. Well at least in my case anyway.
oh....and no interlacing or frame skipping was noted. Sound is ok as well.
Between using WMV and MainConcept (mp4) to encode, I noticed mp4 is slightly faster and the file size is slightly smaller, and the quality still stays good.
I'm not hardcore nor is my eyesight (compared to people with better eyes) to actually catch on to any interlace/frameskip/flickers unless it is blatantly obvious.
Video looks really good. I use Sony Vegas 9.0c [Full] at the moment. My rendering settings that I use are the following: Type: MainConcept AVC/AAC (*.mp4) Custom Settings: Frame Size: *1280x800 (YT will still render the vid in HD. It will take up the whole screen without black bars when watched in fullscreen in a widescreen monitor) *I don't allow source to adjust frame size. *Profile - Baseline *Framerate - 30FPS *Pixel Aspecct Ratio - 1.00 *Constant Bitrate (bps) - 10,000,000
I encoded a 10min. vid and the bitrate matches up.
As for the framerate, YT usually encodes the videos at 30FPS I believe. As a rule of thumb, I know that most console games run at a framerate of 30FPS, with the exception of a few.

On Trial, I was unable to change the "Constant Bitrate", it always revert back to 192,000 default no matter what I do sadly.
Since you have the full version, I'm hoping that is fixed hopefully.
Thanks for your input, appreciated it.. although surprised you went 30fps than 60fps for HD.
Any particular reason?

Yeah, I had the same problem, but then I looked under its description and there it is...this is exactly what it says:
Audio: 192 Kbps, 48,000 Hz, 24 Bit, Stereo, AAC
Video: 35 fps, 1280x800 Progressive, YUV, 10 Mbps
Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.000
I encoded a 10min. vid and the bitrate matches up.

Does this one still take 1 hour to encode?

WMV always takes long to encode and seeing how it's HD it'll only take longer lol
