Plus the president truly doesn't make any laws on abortion, he's only the head of the Executive branch.
Ron Paul may personally not favor abortion, but his rationale for overturning Roe V Wade is because our Constitution does not give the federal level authority over abortions. Ron Paul would hand this issue to the states.

Ron Paul was the ONLY of two Republicans to vote against the then secret, and now very infamous "USA Patriot Act of 2001" out of the 535 members in the Congress. Further, he was the ONLY member of the Congress to blow the whistle to the public on the "secret" Act it back in Nov 2001. He's introduced several bills in the House to attempt to nullify it and has NEVER voted for it's continuation.
And angelbe88, as an aside and fyi, both he and Dennis are very good friends in the House and share the same outlook as far as our Rights go. Both wish to support and defend them to the fullest.

I read more about Elizabeth. She is no "Trophy wife" but a brilliant, committed woman in her own right, working around the world for justice.
I mourn the loss of Dennis voice in the debate, and abhor the attacks against him in Cleveland.

i was checking the view numbers, Ms. Kucinich (a canidates wife) is doing about as good as that fairy queen ron paul (a *yuck* canidate).

As far as i'm concerned Dennis Kucinich was by far the best candidate or the only reasonable candidate for president over all. Now i have to pull for the second underdog john edwards. i guess sanity is just not a popular state in the US. In the United States it is not about quality of life; it is about showing off and beating truth down with lies.

Really? I am strongly pro choice aswell, but I think it's a bad idea to make your decision based on one social issue. I mean lets face it abortion isn't going anywhere. If it ever was totally banned again then it would go back to back alley doctors, people would be appalled, and then it would be made legal again. Plus the president truly doesn't make any laws on abortion, he's only the head of the Executive branch.

Ron Paul may personally not favor abortion, but his rationale for overturning Roe V Wade is because our Constitution does not give the federal level authority over abortions. Ron Paul would hand this issue to the states.

Well, you've definitely got that one wrong angelbe88. Ron Paul was the ONLY of two Republicans to vote against the then secret, and now very infamous "USA Patriot Act of 2001" out of the 535 members in the Congress. Further, he was the ONLY member of the Congress to blow the whistle to the public on the "secret" Act it back in Nov 2001. He's introduced several bills in the House to attempt to nullify it and has NEVER voted for it's continuation.

The U.N. won't even intervene in Burma, why would they do anything in Iraq? We are having success on our own, we don't need them there making a new Sierra Leone out of the situation. We are massively over budget and our largest expenditure is entitlements, which Dennis wants to increase. Not a lot of room in comments, but he is lacking. They all are, but Dennis and Ron Paul are on the far ends of the Bell Curve and do not serve the needs of the majority in the middle.

As a former resident of Florida ,disenfranchised,when Bush became president ILLEGALLY. I've been amazed at what rights have continued to be taken away ILLEGALLY,again and again and again.
