  • this goes out to dear JG

    I do. Jojodd

  • From an all time fav album of mine.Little Stevie Orbit....Love the warmth and the xmassy feel to this gorgous song.x This is how life should be.x

  • Critics kept on comparing him to Bob Dylan...which they shouldn't have(because it didn't help)...he's his own thing(a great thing). Dylan does not own the acoustic guitar and harmonica thing...nor the sruffy voice thing...and I'm pretty much sick of people buying into the notion that he does.

  • Takes me back this. My Brother put me on to Steve Forbert over 30 years ago. Thanks Bro! Why do I speak with people who say, Steve who? Steve deserves far more recogntion. Real emotion and a talented musician.

  • Please post Steve Forbert - Song for carmelita

    Thanks!

  • @hansw16

Thank you so much for notifying me. Lucky I checked my spam box.

  • yeah the best bands are always the most popular

  • great record steve, nice mouth harp.

  • i'm a long time little stevie fan, but this remains my favorite: sweet, simple, slightly sad and so well crafted.

  • He is an amazing singer/songwriter,and so dynamic in his writing, writing what he felt and not what record label's thought he should, gotta respect a man who isnt a slave to a certain type of music, and a great harmonica player to boot.

  • How he never became a superstar is one of the great musical mysteries ever.

  • Couldn't agree more. :)

    Peace

  • Excellent song - discovered him in the 70's. Wish he would perform in California! His voice is music to my ears!

  • truly brillant, I'm a big fan since the late 70's U saw him in NYC at the Palladium, He is timeless and unforgetable. I wish he toured more!

  • A true musician and song writer, I played with Steve in Blioxi Ms in 81 what a thrill to play with this brilliant man.
