this was really helpful apart from one thing, when its done, the layers that i duplicated are the only bits that show up on the animated thing- it flashes between full image, layer with one selected bit, then last layer with one selected bit :S i dont know how to solve this!

@ColletteMaria1 Sorry for getting back to you so late! Not sure if you've solved this yet, but maybe I can help you. The picture and all duplicates should have a white background with no filters or layer styles applied. And when you save, make sure you have "Transparency" UNchecked.
