I don't think anyone has thought about how much this is going to cost. People can barely get a home or car as it is right now. If Obama is able to push his agenda, then the cost of energy to you the consumer will jump at least 50% instantly for just your home. Then add in the taxes for vehicle mile, gas operated tools, penalties for excessive mile etc...and we will not be able to afford to eat. Oh yeah, food prices will go through the roof because of the said plan taxing farmers and their cattle

Flatulence is actually going to be taxed on cattle, so the cost on all food is going to go through the roof. Homes that do not meet code (and code changes frequently and is already impossible to meet perfectly) will be penalized and tax burdened on the owner, making their cost of living impossible. And just to top this off, we are in a record recession. Obama has millions of dollars of income quarterly so its easy for him to fathom this burden on us. Reality is, no one can afford this plan.

It's called the Albeido Effect. (Al- BEE-DOE).

Technically it can contribute to ice ages, If the warm water currents are covered with fresh water from glaicers it will makes summers much colder, covering the world in ice, and each season there is more ice since the ice is reflective.

Though before that happens, this would be helpful.
