Nice! With displays like this that draw such low power, imagine how things will be going forward once they are cheap, mass produced, and can be made larger. Like your whole wall as a screen or something.
"Any kind of touchscreen technology, there's gonna be a layer over it..." What the hell is this woman on about? Is she supposed to be a saleswoman? Manufacturers have been using IR grids for years to get around this problem (proven more so by the fact Sony now adopt it in their eReaders).
Well, but you always need an external lightsource to operate the display, which makes it an inappropriate technology for several applications (e.g. TV).
Nevertheless, if the pricerange is moderate it could be a nice option for mobile applications due to high operation times (mobiles, replace E-Ink Displays) :)
