Salah it's a master at playing with the crowd, but i, as a fan, feel that he lacks locking the most, Yoshie did a nice job, but in this video Salah shows again that he's a showman and of course an excelent dancer, but a poor locker.

I think he recognizes Yoshi and gives her the trophy not only because of her quality, but also because he wanted to get laid XD

They're both amazing dancers and among my top favourites. Salah has an edge over most dancers in that he uses his cockiness, which wins him the stage presence and causes his opponents to get punked out. His opponent this time though, doesn't get punked out at all. Yoshie is just so full of swag which she shows through her dance moves.

I'm guessing Salah did the trophy gesture because he's more excited about finding a worthy opponent and enjoying a good battle and less concerned about winning.

I dunno why u guys praise Salah so much for giving a trophy to Yoshie(no hatin.. Salah is a great performer imo) . He did it because he knew that he lost. Judges were not influenced byt that gesture. Yoshie was waaaay better than Salah. She totally killed it, especially in the 2nd round.

Salah uses his elite battling and popping skills to up his battle performance in any other dance form, here being locking. His performance was really good, but yoshi is definately a more solid locker, which Salah clealy states by giving her the trophy cause he is the man and game recognize game.

Salah is a gentleman and a true sportsman. He gained my respect entirely in this battle because when he pulls out his hair and the crowd goes wild, Yoshie can feel this is gonna be another one of those battles where his opponent loses because of his immense stage presence. Yet at the end he knows she did just about the best job a dancer could do against him and he straight up hands her the trophy, rendering the judges decision moot because he knows what's right isright. In which, you have more freedom of expression to pantomime and play to the audience. Locking has a sequence of specific moves done in repetition. I mean seriously, watch the video, and see how much he is pantomiming vs locking; he's locking very little. There are elements of pantomiming in locking, but he was not doing other "basic" locking elements. Yoshie is locking!
