  • Fat bitch ? Nice horse shame he's got an elephant on his back

  • he's the Black Beauty of Friesians with that one white sock =3

  • Hi This is so beautiful, and my Friesian is called also Apollo he is 5 Jears and soooooo lovely

  • This is a lovely stallion! Was lucky enough to work with them when they came to NZ and Apollo was definitely my favourite! So wonderful to handle. And my god, can this horse piaffe!!

  • Friesians used to come in many colors. Out crossing almost destroyed the breed. At one point only one approved Friesian stallion remained,. As I understand it, all Friesians alive to today trace back to this one stallion. A Friesian with more white than a small patch on the forehead can not be registered with the FPS. This does not mean they are not pruebred.

  • Hmm never seen a frisan with a white marking, he must not be pure friesain

  • Oh this isn't in new plymouth. Oh an I meant *horse

  • Was this the show in new Plymouth ? I went to this show and I want to go again. It was well worth the money it was truely amazing. Apollo was an amazing hore along with all the other beautiful ones.

  • Would have been better if the rider was doing something besides sitting there.

  • you actually can also get bay lipizzaners , iv seen one myself at the spanish riding school in Austria xD

  • you can actually get bay lipizzaners aswell tho VERY uncommen but i have seen one myself in Austria at the classical spanish riding school xD

  • @basketcase119 Lipizzaner horses used come in black, bay, grey, white, sorrel, and occasnional roan. But over time, since they were used as war and ruralty horses, the white horse became favorited, and eventually all other colors started to be breed out of them. Schools that raise them all keep a bay stallion, to try to bring the color back into the breed. But color as you said has become very rare in the breed, due to the selective breeding of humans.

  • Very beautiful performance. Someone's been grooming him for a while. :P

  • I went and saw this show, it was AWESOME!!!

    That horse is friggin amazing!!!!

  • he is a pure friesian

  • Beautiful horse They jun need to let his tail fly.

  • I don't really think he's pure Friesian since he has a white sock. Maybe he's a Friesian sporthorse or a hight crossbreed, but pure?? I don't think so.

  • that woman should really loose some weight.. that is not fair to the horse

  • coolest horse ever imo

  • OMG! Rearing in a circle is so fun! the horse i have was already trained to do that! she cost a fortune but was well worth it! =D she was beautiful!!! anyway the first time i did that i fell! i went flying! now i've never been allowed to live it down and i'm now known as the 'free flyer!' lol it was fun though!

  • Amazing!!!!

  • das ist kein reiner frise, der hat hinten ne socke an (nen weißen fuß)

  • one word....Beautiful.

  • This horse is treated very well and is certainly not in a circus nor is he in Spain. I watched this live and no, he didn't have spur marks either. Rene Gasser is a very talented horseman.

  • Helle11dscu: the Friesian is a strong breed that can carry heavy loads. That lady was not too big for that horse and she was not that heavy set at all.

  • Haha, she,s still got a huge butt.. ;)

    happy thuesday**

  • the tail looks like a doodle. hahahaha

  • spaniards r cruel, he probably has cut in spurs. i went to see a horse show in spain once and every horse came out of the ring with their sides dripping with blood. it was terrible

  • Sooo agree, and they hang their dogs in trees after the dograce, they are not in good favor when it comes to animal protection, att all..........

  • a horse can easily carry one third its wait, thats a 600 kg horse.... There is no way that lady weighs 200 kgs

  • poor thing its in a surcus that is oo mean!! D: x

  • "CIRCUS"...which this is not. This is a high dollar horse and he is probably treated like royalty.

  • Friesians ARE very expensive, because they're the most strongest ,athletic, gorgeous horses in the WORLD!

  • @GigglinWhales its not is a circus they travel around perfoming. i have seen the stables they stay in they live better then the performers do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • OMFG THAT HORSE IS STUNNING !!!! :D I'd love to have one of them! I love friesians :)

p.s what a weird tail xD he would have looked fine without his tail like that O.o oh well :)

  • i wanted to say that the horse's tail is like that so he or she dosent step on his or her tail

  • @ZZophio He has got it tied up so it doesn't block anyone from seeing his movement :)

  • Hes BEAUTIFUL, i wish i had 1

  • let the tail free!

  • wat a strange friesian, they cant be a true friesian if they have any white on them, barr a few flecks on the forhead or by the withers? hes still beautiful, but different, love the way he almsot dances as he rears in a circle :)

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx Where is the white at? There is some weird cloth or bandage that is covering his right back hoof. I don't see white anywhere else. He is super glossy though

  • @randomblond92 the white on his back is a white marking, so hes got one white back foot which is super rare in friesians, like fjords, my mates got a fjord pony with white markings and he was super cheap cuz of it haha, he is gorgeous, I think friesians would look nice with white feet.

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx maybe theres a different blood other then friesian in him 0.o

  • @horslovingurl A slight possiblity but I don't think he would get so much attention if he was part bred, it's more than likely just a gene mutation or a skip. It is uncommon but can happen, like getting steele grey Lippizaners and blagdon markings on welsh cobs, makes his allure ever more powerful I think!

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx I don't remember writing this, how wrong of me!! Gene mutations and white markings are uncommon but not unheard of. My friend has a Fjord with white markings, and you can get steele grey lippizaners. Makes them cooler, just ignore this comment aha I am wrong!

  • Freisians are so stunningly beautiful...

  • so stunning

  • I watched this show to. Hes gorgeous!

  • Looks like my Frieisian sport horse.. Odysseus has a star and a right hind pastern... check him out on my site.

he is for lease or sale.

  • The tails are tied up to prevent the horse from tripping on it, and to prevent damage to the tail itself.

  • hes so strong! beautiful!

  • amizing

  • Sorry I Feel Really Stupid Asking This But Why Is His Tail All Tied Up?

    Thanks X

  • I think it so when his rearing he doesnt step on it. Just guessing though.

  • Ohh Thanks. That Makes Loads More Sense Now.

    x

  • wow!

  • awesome!

  • What Type Of Surface Are They Working On??

    Rubber ..??

    =]

  • yes, they use rubber so that the horse's hooves don't get sore. :)

  • Ahh Cool - Thankyou

  • BEAUTIFUL stallion!

  • this is an amazing clip!May i use it?

  • cool

  • I named a goat Apollo...*shrugs at the coincidence* ^.^

  • Aww poor horse. Fat ass rider, pullin on his mouth like that while he's on his hind legs. Damn. That could screw up his hocks... And he's not considerd a fresian if he has a white mark on him (which he does.

  • actually there are two problems with what you just said. 1: i see absolutly NO white marks on this horse.

  • and 2: if you did your research properly you will find that the fresian pure bred law clearly states that , no matter how rare, a white star is to be aloud. also, there is such thing as a chestnut fresian as well. you want proof of it just ask me and i will give you several website on which to look.

  • uhh? My friend Allison commented on this video not me, I own this account. And if you how to treat people propperly you wouldn't try and prove them wrong now would u? Just thought I would point that out. It's all right if u and the rider weigh the same, let's just hope u don't ride horses.

  • haha i apologize to you. but tell ur friend allison what i said about fresian coloring. i really would like to help, i like to teach new things.

  • Hi yea I'm Allison! Can u add me or send me a private message? Umm my friend who owns this account his name is Silver. Sorry about him he get's very protective over me sometimes.

  • hi alison! dont worry its cool lol.

  • oh and he says he accepts ur apology even tho you did nothing wrong to him.

  • tell him thank you. is he your boyfriend?

  • No, I wish!!!! He's just a friend, I'm too old for him anyways. He says "Uhh... yea, no problem? (smiles and continues folding clothes)"

  • omg that was amazing!

  • nossa isso é que é cavalo de verdade!!

    muito loko..

  • nossa que cavalo em !!!isso é que é cavalo de verdade!!!

  • hes got to have percherone in him

  • wow, if that horse keeps doing that he is going to injure himself... they should think again about the horses health!

  • Look at the horse his happy and healthy. These horses are taken care of like their gods after all the work they put into those horses they aren't going to risk anything happening to them. Go see some horses interact with each other you'll learn alot!

  • Sorry one last thing there is a part in the show with a mini and a clydie; the mini wasn't liking his job so they brought a new mini to take over but once he had a new friend he was happy in his training again.

  • rearing is a natural thing for a horse, this guy knows what he is doing. and so does the horse. if the horse was in any pain he would be fighting back

  • haha, i renaber this, haha one of the first things is one of there horse pooped lol and the pooh man came out to pick it up, i have not idea but we all cheered and claped every time he came out, lol and one of there horses did not want to bow so the lady on top of the horse point to the horse that was bowing.

  • beautiful and very talented but he's not a pure stallions. the breed isn't 'allowed' to have any markings... still an absolutely gorgeous horse though!!

  • what is a "not a pure stallion"????????

  • no i meant he wasn't a pure Friesian but i made a mistake anyway. friesians normally don't have any markings but it happens sometimes that even a purebred horse gets some little color0marking 'fault'...

no big deal, it's a gorgeous horse!

  • they normally will not be regerstred if theyhave marking or can be a "breeding stallion" b.c the marking....so i thought

  • Wow, that's a stallion?! They're good! I love fresians!

  • Woah! i loved how it twisted around when it did a perfect rear

  • my bestie went to this, i also went to a rene gasser production a few years ago, it was called lipizanners witht eh stars, it was the most beautiful thing ever. i loved appollo!!

  • WOW. What a gorgeous friesian.

  • vs remarké kil a une petite balzane o postérieur droi é lé bottine bof on lé voi preske pa, dacor il é bo mé se né pa un pur race

  • WHOA I love that Friesian but it can't be pure though!

  • Hi all, just to let you know, the horse is 'Apollo Von Frieso' he is a pure Fresian, his white sock is a fault, but he is a pure. All of the horses in this company are purebred, Fresian, Andalusian, Lippizaner, Arabian... I strongly suggest if you live in Australia, and love horses, try to see this show, it will be one of the best you will get the chance to see... don't let the name of El Caballo Blanco throw you, its not the same show that was in Sydney & Perth, they are just using the name.

  • Sorry umm i really like a white sock on the friesian it is gorgeous!

  • that horse cant be a purebread fresian, hes got a little white sock! lol BEAUTIFUL though, wouldnt say no if you gave me that!

  • wow! incredible.

  • I was a principal rider with this group, and the horses are treated very well... there is no cruelty... would you say that the Spanish Riding School in Vienna is cruel? Rene Gasser is a master at what he does, and treats his horse and riders very well! People like you have no idea of anything! Thank you for the post of this video

  • wow that is really cool, the rider must have extremely strong legs to stay on. If i was on that horse while it was like that, i would be on the ground within 2 seconds lol

  • god that's cool

  • that is ABSOLUTLEY beautiful!!! georgous horse!! ♥♥♥

  • why would you want to watch a horse doing that

[again man!!! being in control] and yes i do own horses spend most of my time undoing what we have done to them they have long memories do we have to be so in control . work is not standing on to back legs even if he looks as if he is enjoying it!!!

  • you are so true, if a horse rears it is basically unsellable and unrideable, i have spent alot of time retraining horses for people, making them rear is not cool, especially with that fat lump on their backs

  • Unless that's what they're trained for. Horses like these are not for pleasure and no one sane would ever think they were fit for a novice rider. These are the pampered equine elite athletes. They never want for anything and each horse pretty much has its own staff.

This is a beautiful, well trained horse working in willing harmony with both rider and trainer.

  • Yea these horses could have prolly 300 lbs on their back and be fine on a ride they are built for it :)

  • They never FORCE the horse to do this, Fresians are a form of Draft horse, they were bred to pull and carry heavy weight.. so I doubt he even notices. This it my FAVORITE kind of horse, I have always DREAMED of owning one... Great video.. I love it!!!

  • join the club lol I want one for dressage...

  • WOW! Stamina much...?! :O

  • that is impressive!! and its not abuse people! its called incredible training, and the horse enjoys working!

  • there not doing anything as bernelle said friesians r draft horses they r extremely strong and it doesnt hurt him or else they wouldnt put him in a live show now would they?

  • Because of long interbreeding Fresians often have hip problems. This becomes more obvious when the horse is over 10 years old.

You really think people don't do bad things to horses (and other animals)? Why is the everage age of the horse now only around 8 years old?

  • thats nice and i no ppl do horrible things to horses (type in "Horse love video" and look for the vid by xNicxxxNacx its horrible)but the horse in this vid doesnt look the least bit in pain and he wasnt forced do u c any whips hitting him?any spurs?no so drop it the horse looks like it likes its work

  • honestly....of natural causes I doubt its 8 years old...8 years old is generally the mental prime and the end of the physical prime in a horses life, and any responsible horse owner could tell you that.

  • its not around 8. where did u hear that from. that is pretty much complete an total bull

  • HE LOOKS JUST LIKE MY FRIESIAN STALLY BUT HE HAS A LONGER TAIL THAT DRAGS ON THE GROUND. HIS NAME IS Today Will Never Come Agian. or Today's Last. I know it doesn't make sense but we didn't want to change it after he was named and his name was there for 4 years. and he is great at dressage.

  • lol the tail isnt short. its just braided up near the muscle so it looks like it is.

    very talented horse and rider.

    beautiful fresian.

    one of my favorite breeds besides appaloosa and arabian [;

  • aw, he looks strong, but is it natural for them to be up that long?

  • i dont understand....it looks like they trimmed the feathering off his legs...

  • thats soooooooooooo cool!

  • I luv friesians and they are ALMOST alaways all black EXCEPET for blizzard and one other horse that i for got its name. they where born albino they are completly White with pinkish muzzles Beautiful horses. i will try to poast a side show if i can. :}

  • WHATS HIS NAME? Hes sooooooooooooooooo pretty!

  • that horse is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • how can anyone see beauty in forcing the horse to do stuff?

  • I kind of agree with you, moii1985, and I kind of dont... But it is a pretty horse either way.

  • they aren't forcing him....they trained him to do these things

  • mmm u dont need spurs and a bit if the horse wants to do it... I agree, the horse is a beauty..

  • You really think spurs and a bit can force a horse to do something it really doesn't want to do? A determined horse can ignore both.

  • Amen to that! XD

  • i dont like the tail people should let them have a natual flow to them it ruins the look of the horse

  • hey give that horse a break it is hard for a horse to do that to stand like that for like ten minutes

  • hes only like that for like 10 seconds...but i agree if they are going to do that, they shouldn't have someone riding him

  • ummmm about the albino thing?? You can't have an albino of any species with 85% of its body being black. You are either albino or you're not...not halfway.

  • a close friend of min has one with a white foot she takes him all over the world for performance, and when required she dyes the fetlock and paints the hoof.

  • It isn't allowed to have anything white on an friesian horse expect some white hair in the head. I saw a comment were someone had a friend whit a totally white friesian horse. Are she kidding or what? even if they're albino, they always have moore than 85% of black on their body. That stallion on the video isn't "allowed". It's perfect to things as shows, dressage ecc.

  • perfect horse, love it. i wish it was mine. xxx

  • what show this is?? is good and in spain dont know this...

  • no they are not looked down apon it is just rare for them to have white markings and there have also been extremely rare cases of chestnut fresians! i know thats hard to beleive but its true!! Ill upload another video of him, he might not look completely freisian to you cos he is rearing

  • thats not a fresian... more like a cross breed.. or possibly cross breed of a percheron or so..

  • are u kidding me! how can you possibly not know who rene gasser is and el caballo blanco-he has the most renound spanish horses in the business and is fron the spanish riding school in vienna-they travel all around the world with only the best horses and apollo (Pictured) is his best FRESIAN stallion from spain-so yeh its a fresian!!!

  • best fresian?... isn't it true that friesans who have white on them are looked down upon as poor quality, or a halfbreed?

  • hahahahha are you kidding? go read a horse breed book!

  • 1. I do not know everything of the friesan breed, why? because i do not care for them.

    2. what I do know (and was just confimed of on a freisan breed website) is that white is looked down on, and only stars on the forehead are permitted. So, thus your comment was not needed, as I was correct in the manner of the white is indeed looked down upon. I did not know friesans could have white for a sock, so assumed it for a half breed.Thank you tiggapie, for politely pointing out my error.

  • Yes, white on a fresian is "looked down on" in the show circuit. It's the same concept as a dalmation with black ears is "looked down on." But, a dalmation with black ears is still a dalmation, not a "half" dalmation. The point of my comment was to explain you shou research BEFORE you make ignorant comments.

  • I think the comment you just made was quite rude! My friend has 3 fresian's one is all white and its pure fresian. Just because it's albino doesnt make it not a fresian and she has won over 20 blue ribbions on that horse. One in grand prix southern cali!

  • you should read my comment more carefully. you'll notice i was saying white on a fresian DOES NOT make it any less of a fresian. if the horse is truly "albino" than it is albino.. not a black fresian with white markings which is what i was referring to.

  • also, i did NOT say any Fresian that wasn't black is looked down apon, or not a pure Fresian, I said black Fresians with white MARKINGS are looked down on in shows. Were the shows she went to breed shows? I am referring to breed shows. again, i wish people actually knew what they were talking about.

  • cool do you have a picture of it?

i'd love to see an albino Friesian!!!

    :D

  • There is no such thing as an albino Friesian. Friesians must be pure black and go through testings before they can become registered. There is only 1 Friesian in the world who isn't black. His name's Fire Magic. Type in it on youtube or google. He's pretty cool

  • i looked up fire magic. very pretty horse :) but there is no way he is pure bred fresian. though the fresian shows very well in his muscle work. god he is gorgeous lol

  • its funny to see a large women doing thoes kinds of tricks. No dis to her, its just funy looking.

  • Um .. i don't see the problem.. It's a big horse. And quite frankly i think that is a rude comment !
