What is real progress? Government or state stimulated markets? Nationalized companies? I hate to bring this to your attention, but that was tried ~ in the Soviet Union. It was not tremendously successful. Have you done any reading on the Ukraine Famine of the 20's of 30's ~ a result of Stalin's attempt to centralize and nationalize agriculture?
