Do not buy this product in the UK - I used it twice and the button for release of base stopped working properly. Customer services basically blamed me for accidental damage and said that the 5 year warranty did not apply to anything external. There are no service engineers in the UK and I was left with fixing it myself or paying to send it to them. I think the Germans have a word for this product - MIST
Unfortuately mine had been faulty since I first used it and it had to have a new suction motor when it was just nine months old. I would not recommend it for anybody who has arthritis in their hands and/or wrists as it swivels form side to side and greatly increases the pain in my wrists and hands.
This range of vacuums is the most unreliable series within the Sebo range and they have had massive faults with them. That is why John lewis and other retailers sell them as they get good rebates on selling them. I always have and always sell the standard uprights and cylinders as they are superb quality.
Please tell me specifics about the Sebo Felix issues I am seriously considering purchasing one. Why is the G1 or x4 that much better? Who is John Lewis?
